I lost my bread knife and had to replace it..not like I use it to cut bread or anything..lol..who does..?! But ya know you need a nice serrated edges knife to at least cut up boxes etc! Lol..this knife is really beautiful. The pic the have of it does NOT do it justice!! Honestly! Normally it’s the other way around! Was a real pleasant surprise considering the price I paid for it! This knife is SHARP..real heavy duty and looks like it’s gonna outlive me..if I had kids it’d probably end up as an heirloom; it looks that sturdy! And one of the best part about it..it’s a continuous blade to handle..no screws..no parts to break or rust..no place for germs and grime to hide out in and fester etc.. Hands down a really great buy!!

I love this knife. And so does my mom, who I bought it for. She has arthritis and needs something that cuts with ease. This thing cuts soft bolilo rolls easy. I love this knife. It is everything I could ask for except for it being a little on the heavy side, but wow, what a blade! I could care less, but my mom is very old. Aside from that it is very rare that something acquired online will turn out to exceed ones expectations. This is such an item. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Joe B. Mahalo and Aloha. 6-12-18 I will update if the knife rusts or dulls quickly. 8-1-18 Knife is so sharp it is scarring my mom's cutting board. Careful. Thing is really good! Update: 8-13-18 I bought one for my mom who loves it, but will not share it. That is why I have to buy another one for me and my dad to use. In the picture you can see some minor discoloration. We don't mind.

I finally got tired of struggling with regular knives to cut bread, especially crusty bread. I was perennially unsuccessful in finding a decently priced knife at the usual places, and ended up ordering this. I've been extremely pleased with it so far. It is lightweight, but sharp and decisive. It cuts crusty bread with little effort and no slippage. It also does not shred more delicate bread and pastry products. I also occasionally use it to slice tomatoes. I've had it for about five months and it has shown no signs of wear at all.

Although I just received this knife using it under a week I absolutely love it. I make real bread, Tartine bread, that's made with wild yeast, non of that instant syntactic yeast... a bit diverging. My bread comes out super crusty on the outside and soft as melted butter inside. This knife cuts it with ease and pure enjoyment, I feel like one of those infomercials with every cut when everything cuts like magic. I've been using a smaller serrated knife before that came as part of a package, Calphalon Japanese series, can't complain too much with their knifes, but their serrated bread knife is way below par. In conclusion, the price for this knife is beyond right and super glad I got it, probably will be buying more and making it as a holiday gift since they're around the corner. One more thing or couple, this knife looks and feels amazing in your hand it's really a piece of art mixed with craftsmanship.

This design is real nice. The unit very compact when assembled and fits in travel bag well. Both the fork, which separates easily and fold into a full length and the spoon are full size and seem very sturdy. They are easy to clean. The knife was not real shape but a couple of pull thru a sharpener and it had nice edge. Personally I do not have need for the opener, but it handy for opening the knife. And the price WOW and yes there re 2 full sets.

I bought this for my wife over a year ago because she complained that we don't have a good knife to cut bread. I, of course, thought she was being ridiculous and that our other knives did just fine. A year later I won't use any other knives to cut bread at home. It's a great knife and still very sharp. My wife was right (as usual).

I'm really happy with this knife. I bought it for my bread maker bread. Very pleased. It cuts through easily and I don't have to push down too hard on the bread which can just squash your new loaf! Sellers even checked in to make sure I was happy with it via email. You don't get that great customer service that often these days and I really appreciate it. 5 stars and a thumbs up on this knife. I highly recommend.

I am working on a project where I am hacking at thorny century plants, prickly pear cactus and tough, dried out roots. I needed something that was sharp, not too big, as I am a small woman. I had a beautiful serrated bread knife (my parents paid way too much money for it 50 years ago.) Since my parents are long since gone, and would never know I used their very expensive knife as a machete, I decided to give it a try a try. That was six months ago and one day, realizing that I had abused it so much that I now had a very dull machete (can you sharpen a serrated knife?) It was taking me way too long to slice and dice the Arizona countryside, so, I went shopping on Amazon. I found, and decided to try, the ORBLUE Serrated Bread Knife, Ultra-Sharp Stainless Steel Bread Cutter. I was very excited when it arrived! It was beautiful - much too beautiful to be used as a machete; but, I decided to 'just give it a try', anyway. What a beautiful day that was!! The knife is sharp, the grip is wonderful and it is just the perfect length for me. It slices through Arizona's shrubbery like a hot knife through butter. I can only assume that it will also be a perfect knife to slice through bread; however, I can not attest to that as my ORBLUE Serrated Bread Knife has never, and will never, have the opportunity to do so.

Let me start off by saying I'm not a professional chef, however I do a lot of cooking and in particular I love barbecuing. I have been using the chef's knife that came with our knife set and finally decided to upgrade when I continued to have a horrid time slicing tomatoes and decided enough is enough. I had no idea what knife to get, but saw this one on sale during Amazon prime day. Needless to say the first thing I did after washing the knife was to slice a tomato. It cut right through the skin without any pull. Pros -Sharp out of the box -Keeps -sharp edge, I still have not had to sharpen it. -Has a nice clean look -Light; if you want a lighter knife this seems to be a good fit. Cons - The knife is a lot lighter than my set knife and I wish it had a bit more heft to it. All in all I'm very pleased I finally decided to upgrade and I use it on just about everything.
