This phone holder has been in my car for months now. I wanted something sturdy and not subjected to wear and tear over months of usage. This product is that. My only gripe is that the cushion gets a little brown after months of usage. That's understandable, but perhaps instead of using a light color cushion, it could be a black cushion. Other than that, this car holder has been an excellent purchase for me.

*****UPDATE****** The seller contacted me and let me know they have upgraded the suction and sticky gel, and sent me another one free of charge. The new one works splendidly! It keeps my phone in place and stays stuck to the windshield even on the bumpiest of gravel roads! My only criticism on the new model is the clamp is not even at the half way point of the phone. So it can get a little off balance, but if you tighten the back it keeps it pretty steady. I really like the look of this phone holder, however I am not able to get it to stay on the dash or the windshield. It will hold on to the windshield for about an hour but it keeps pulling off. My dash is kind of curved, and that prevents it from staying there. Overall, I'm disappointed in this product.

These things are great! It's sturdy and holds my phone great (when it doesn't have a PopSocket on the back). It's easy to assemble and easy to install. The only issue I've had is that my phone will fall out if I've been on the road for several hours (like 4 hours plus) just from all the bumps in the road. However if I adjust it every so often and make sure it's in the holder well then I have no issues what-so-ever.

Security, Convenience and Functionality

Tried of fumbling for your phone? Having it slide around in the car only to end up out of reach? This is a great little, simple to install, phone holder that WORKS! It doesn't block an air vent and the side platform that inserts into your car CD player is adjustable so it fits securely. I chose this one because it has two legs for the phone to set on so I don't have to worry about it falling out while driving. They support legs swivel, so if you don't like them they fold under the back. If you don't adjust the tension of the CD insert sufficiently, it has a tendency to bounce with each bump in the road. Just make sure it is securely tightened ... but don't over tighten. Also make sure the coupling nut around the ball pivot is secure. Once that occurs it is very stable. Easily accommodates a charge cord top or bottom.

You won’t be disappointed

This phone mount is awesome. It holds my iPhone 6 steady and it does not rattle. You don’t have to overtighten the CD opening crank to keep it safely in place. In the same way, the ball crank in the back only needs to be slightly snugged to hold the phone steady. When in use the phone partially obstructs the radio display so I’ll rotate it a quarter turn to see the reverse camera screen. This mount is definitely 5 out of 5.

So, I received and installed CD slot phone holder for my I-Phone 7 Plus. this device was much less cumbersome than my previous one. I can raise the angle of the holder so I can see my clock and operate my radio. My previous one was too bulky and I could not read the clock or operate my radio very easily. The device uses a knob on the top that adjusts for tightness so my phone is secure and stable. The side button release is a nice feature that allows for the easy removal of my phone. I use this device in a Dodge Ram and the ride is very rough as the suspension is designed for off road operation, This holds my iPhone securely and in my vehicles that has been a real challenge. The suction mounts never work and I wasted money on a phone mount that is secured using the cigarette lighter plug in. Those devices were not sturdy enough to hold my phone during my commute and would never work off road. I am confident that I this mount would easily work off road. Five stars!

Great Solid Phone Holder.....

Quality phone holder. I tried a couple of phone holders that went on the air vents and they just did not work. Too far from the driver seat or too close to the steering wheel. This Mpow fit the bill. I initially over looked the CD slot holder because I though that it would be too close to the dash or block items from being used. It fit perfectly in my wife's 2016 Acura RDX.

First and foremost -- the seller Patozon gives 110% to customer satisfaction. When the first one seemed to be defective, I contacted them and they were quick to reply and offer to send a replacement. Later they said, no need to send the first one back to them. There were several email exchanges with the seller because I was assembling it wrong and it was falling apart. You have to press the ball into it's receptacle WITH SOME FORCE. We've been using it for more than a week now, including weekend errands, literally in the car all day where we drove up a steep hill, over bumps in the road, etc. It works great. I bought mine on a Lightening Deal and saved about 1/3 of the normal price. If you don't have the Amazon app in your browser, you should. Every day it alerts you of price drops.

Didn't work in any of our 3 cars...

UPDATE: they sent me a compatible version. OLD POST: Tried this in all 3 of our cars (new Mazda, Honda and Mustang).... Didn't fit in ANY of the CD ports without impeding the use of the shifter. Returned the item as it's unusable.
