Exactly what I was looking for! Was super easy to apply, didn't even need the tool to squeeze out the bubbles, just used my hand! Applied to the front door side lite, and blocks unwanted visitors from glaring into my castle. A moat just simply won't do these days :).

UPDATE:I have now had this up for almost 6 weeks and it looks just as good as when I first put it up! There has been no issues with peeling or tearing. I have had a couple people ask me if I got new windows because you can't tell that it is stuck on. Alright I have to put a few things straight after reading several negative reviews. I have noticed several user errors. It is incredibly important to READ ALL OF THE INSTRUCTIONS before putting this on your window. There were several reviews that said that the film would not stick to their window however if you remove the backing on it before placing it on the wet window it does stick perfectly. Also, I noticed another review where somebody said that they sent it back because it was see-through and didn't look anything like the pictures, however, once you place it on the window and it has light on it the look of it changes. One more thing that I will say is that it does have really great privacy. When standing outside you can see shadows but you cannot see any detail. I would not recommend this if you are using it in a bathroom though. I did attach a picture of what it looks like unrolled and what it looks like installed.

I used this on my mirrored closet doors, because who wants 60 square feet of mirror in their bedroom?? It took some practice to install, and for a big area you have to have two people. Leave it on the roll and unroll as you go. but once we got the hang of it, it wasn't hard. I used a two foot wide roll of frosted film top and bottom of the doors and used the 3 foot wide roll of prism film in the center (I wish they had a product name or number to differentiate the films), leaving a 4" gap between the films. It looks great, and by using the width the rolls came in as part of my pattern I had a minimum of cutting to do. this film is quite heavy and so a little harder to cut than the frosted film, but it feels very sturdy and good quality. A tip for using this film: the backing is very hard to start, then when you finally do get the front and back separated it just pops back together when you let go, so have some masking tape handy to put on the edge of the backing when you get it apart.

I am awed by the prismatic effect. Can be used in many ways other than on a windowpane. I rolled a large sheet into a cone, placed it over a tall stick wrapped in Christmas lights then mounted the stick onto a thrift store Christmas stand. I put it in the front yard and it delighted people with its rare effect. During the daytime, small mirrors placed under it angled sunlight inside the cone and, viola': prismatic effect. Plus, this product is sturdy stuff. It still looks new. Therefore, its next use is as a shower curtain. It's that tough. And I am gleefully buying more. I thank whomever created this material and those who make it available.

I was leary on how this would work. It was easy to install and still allows a lot of light to come in. My pets might not be thrilled that they can't people watch. My dog doesn't bark near as much. I am thrilled because I don't feel like I am being watched non stop and can leave my blinds opens. They still allow the silloettes to be seen but it masks a lot of the clarity. It does great during daytime and even works well at night when it is dark outside and lights are on inside. It will not block out everything but works perfect for what I wanted it for. Will be ordering more now that I have tried it. I do have to say when I first opened the package and looked through the film I was concerned it would not conceel anything but once installed it was what I expected when I ordered it. I have included a picture of the front of my home at just about dark. One window has been filmed, one not. The light is on inside the house. My husband is sitting right inside the room where the filmed window is. I didn't include the picture where he is sitting right inside the uncovered window but trust me...you could see him clearly. Does what we need it to do! :)

Seriously beautiful! I thought it looked 'just okay' on the roll, but now that it's on our back door it is amazing! It's prismatic (but not over the top rainbow) so it has almost a scale-like sheen to it. It's the perfect way to let lots of light in but not be completely transparent. And not to mention make our kitchen look beautiful!

This window cover is beautiful. It is high quality, thick plastic, installs easily, and has relief (you can feel the design etched in). Plus at this price, as compared to the other high quality covers, cannot be beat. The size I ordered, 3ftx 6.5ft, covered two 12 in x 72 in windows and an oval window that was 32in x 55in. It is sticking wonderfully, just follow the directions. Clean your windows and apply a lot of soapy water to your window as you install it. It will literally float around as you put it in place. As for how it looks, I was worried that it would be a flat sheet of plastic with the lines drawn on like a lot of cheap, fake looking ones I have seen. It is not. It is actually a good replication of etched glass. It shines beautifully when the sun shines through (which it does clearly, the light is not diminished), and in the evening when the hall light is on. The colors reflected are a true rainbow hue; like in a prism. It does not block the view inside the house. You can still see people behind the window, and in the evening you will be seen, just not in detail (forms can be made out, but unless someone is at the door/ window, they can't see what you are wearing, etc). So this is not for super privacy, for that I suggest a frosted glass look. This particular design lends itself to trimming mistakes. I get nit picky about these kind of things, and there are definitely areas that I did not trim as cleanly as others. I thought I was going to have to redo one of the windows because of it, but when I stepped back it was completely unnoticeable. I actually had to look for the areas, so a casual observer would have no idea. TL;DR: Overall this is a great value. The price is great compared to others, looks are far superior to anything I have ever seen, made of quality material, installs easily (follow instructions), and lends itself to trimming mistakes. I am totally satisfied with my purchase. (1 year update: Still looks fantastic, no fading, no cracking, no peeling. Most people have no idea it is cling film, and express surprise when they find out. *if they came over prior to installation they know it's plastic. if they are new visitors and compliment the windows, i tell them it is cling film and they are amazed. still 100% satisfied with my purchase)

Put this up in my bathroom window, it's gorgeous(highly recommend putting it in a window that gets sunlight). Simple to cut and put up. But if you're planning on putting this on the ground level, if you walk right up to it and peer in you can see pretty clearly. Wasn't a problem for me though it's on the second floor.

Zumma back again with his honest review - Yesterday the product came in a nice card board roll and it gave the look as if I ordered an expensive painting. Anyway, it took me 5 minutes to install it. I did a horrible job to cut it straight but the design itself helps you hide the inexperience of not cutting straight. In fact, I put an additional strip at the end as it fell short and you cant tell. It looks very good and I am so impressed and once again I am upset that people put negative reviews on product that are actually good and my mentality is that I will read the negative first. I am attaching pictures of two of my bedroom that I did with one roll. It has a thin plastic that has to be removed for it to stick to the glass and says it in the instruction but I saw a review somebody complained that they did not know about it. Also, it is not an adhesive so you can take it down and put it back up. I also looked at from outside at night with lights on and you can make that a person is there but you cant tell their clothing. So overall I am heavily impressed.
