Easy to program and work well
These are great timers. One of them is replacing an Intermatic 2-hour digital timer, which is incredibly complicated to set up properly. These Century timers are very easy to program, and can automatically adjust themselves for Daylight Saving Time. The display is clear and easy to read. I like the Random setting, which randomly turns the timer on and off around the times you have selected, so it appears that the house is occupied. It's handy to be able to plug in two lamps that will turn on and off at the same time. I'm very pleased with these timers, and will probably buy a couple more in the future.

Works great! Now that's customer service!
Works great! I bought 2 of these 2-packs and 1 of these units was defective after a few hours of use. The mechanism that turns the unit on was stuck in the off position. I called the customer service number and got a LIVE HUMAN on the other line. She was as polite as she can be. She had me try some things over the phone to see if we could get the unit working again. When we could not fix it over the phone she took down my information and shipped me a new unit, free of charge, which arrived in about a week. She followed up with me by email and all is good now. Now that's customer service! By the way, this unit works very quietly and my dog does not freak out anymore when the old mechanical timers I had would click on and off. My dog approves of this product. :)

Dependable/Not difficult to program
I have these connected to plug-in wall sconces in my bedroom and they have worked perfectly. There were a few reviews saying they were difficult to program but my husband and I did not find them difficult at all. He pushed the buttons as I read the directions to him. We love that we can have multiple settings on them. My husbands goes off at 6:30 am and stays on for about 5 minutes while he grabs his clothes and then it shuts back off about a minute after he leaves the room so I get to continue sleeping peacefully! Mine turns on at 7:15 and stays on for an hour because I tend to go in and out of the room more while I get ready. Then they both come on at 4:30pm and turn off at 9:30pm.

Solves my Christmas light delays
I had a similar one from years ago but also had two mechanical ones - one with the plastic dogs you pull up and the other (20+years) with on/off tabs that you would rotate around to whatever time you wanted. I wanted to replace those two with digital versions so I could get all my Christmas lights to turn on at the same time. These are great - not much different in function/appearance with the one digital one I had. Century seems to have solid reviews here and elsewhere so I ordered these. Came right on time and now it's nice to see the XMas lights kick in right on time, all at once, with full accuracy! Very easy to program and the batt backup allows you to set the base time across multiple ones with ease and precision.

The best timers out there!!
These timers are the best! I go through a lot as I keep many reptiles and need the timers for the lights. The mechanical timers I would buy kept messing up, making loud noises, or they just simply quit. Finally did research and bought a pair of these and have not been disappointed! Easy set up, no noise, and they have not messed up at all. You can also program for different days and program the two outlets separately. Definitely the best!

Good Timer
Love it Got this timer to use with my new Christmas tree and the lights I have around the dining room. I love coming home and seeing the lights on already, it just feel so festive!! I also like how there’s a daylight savings function and a random make-my-house-look-like-someone-lives-there vacation function too (haven’t had to use that yet, but its cool to know its there). ill repurpose it after xmas to use with my bedrm lamps.

They do what they're supposed to.
These work as advertised. They have an on board charge, and appear to be rechargeable. This allows you to program them without them being plugged into a wall, but you'll probably want to let them recharge a bit before doing this. This should also prevent the timer from having to be reset every time there's a power outage. Programming them is simple and straight forward. Plugging the unit into to the top outlet appears to only allow access to the bottom outlet for some standard plugs. Other's don't quite seem to fit. All and all they appear to be well made and function as they're supposed to. I think anyone would be happy with them.

Great little timer
It is a little complicated to set up, but not terrible. Just follow the directions. For me, putting the desired off/on times on paper for Monday through Sunday helped me make groups so I had to make fewer programs. Manual override and return to program is easy (again, read the directions). No loss of programming during power outage. Love it! Would buy again.

Excellent quality digital timer
Timers work great and have plenty of flexibility when setting. The only thing that got me on one of them was the auto/off/on settings that others have mentioned. When I first read their reviews I was thinking that perhaps they can't read properly. But I now see the confusion and how it occurs. Not totally sure why it works this way, others don't, but once figured out, it works fine. I like the heavy duty 3-prong capability. Often times only offer 2-prong. And yes the product is good sized, but really not any larger than other digital timers I had. I would definitely recommend.

fantastic item
Works very well besides being a bit chunky. Bought one for myself and one for my grandma since she's old and always forget to turn her heater off. I figure this would be perfect. I set her timer to turn on every night around 9 -11, then 12-2, etc. every two hours throughout the night until around the time she wakes up in the morning. I love how it has so many programs and options :)
