Great gift for a child.

I purchased this as a gift for my grandson. I have looked inside and it is all there. While the materials are not exotic woods, precious metals, or rare magical ethers, they are affordable and, with careful use should give my budding magician an idea of what magic is all about, or, at least a fun rainy afternoon driving his sister nuts.

I love that the next day after my grandkids received this kit they were able to show me some entertaining tricks!

Really Excellent How-To's included

This was a gift for a just-turned seven year old and she has become a whiz at magic tricks. Very entertaining, and she figured out how to make her shows a lot of fun to watch. We gave it to her along with a cape and sequin vest which she wears when conducting her tricks. The how-to's are well written and she "got it" at first read, and then did a lot of practicing. Great kit.

Great Starter Kit

The kit was a huge hit for my 8 yo daughter. These tricks are easy to use and with practice even master.

Grandpa/ son time together!

I bought this for my grandson and he loved it. We had some great grandfather/ son time together going over tricks. He loves performing them for others. He is 7 years old.

Its A Gift

This is a holiday gift for a teenager who has yet to receive it. I'm giving it 5 stars because at least its not a tech toy and it requires a certain skill and will provide lots of fun the for "magician" and those he/she entertains. What Fun! This magic set and all the toys I've recently purchased are going to the Marine's Toys For Tots!

Great Magic Kit

After seeing a magic show this summer my kids have been obsessed with magic. This kit is great for kids. They enjoy putting on magic shows at home. The tricks are not difficult to learn so my kids enjoyed being able to learn how to do the tricks themselves so that they could surprise my husband and I.

Fun for kids

I got this kit for a friend of mine. It has a lot of pieces, many which can be used to perform multiple different tricks. After reading the instructions and practicing for a little bit my friend put on a magic show to show them off. They all worked pretty well and I still don't know how a lot of them worked even after seeing them a few times. This probably isn't the kit for a professional or adult wanting to get into serious magic performance but it's great for kids or someone that is just wanting to try things out. My friend did say some of the instructions were a bit vague and took a bit of playing with but he was able to figure it all out anyway. The items are plastic so they aren't pro quality but I think they would be just fine for a kid. All in all I'd recommend this kit for kids. They should have fun with it.
