I bought this for my son who has autism and does not feel temperature well. The flashing light and beeping if it is to hot is wonderful. He is 12 and this is the first time he has been able to run his own bath and that I can trust that he isn't burning himself. We used it for a few test days to make sure he was paying attention to it and he was able to get the hang of it easily, learn to read the temperature and keep the water in the correct/ safe range.

My baby loves taking baths and this takes out the guess work to test her bath water for the right temperature. If it lights up green then that means water is cold. If it beeps and is flashing red light then it means water is too hot. If it’s not doing any blinking or any lights on, then it’s just the perfect temperature. I like how I do not have to turn it on or off. It automatically shuts off once it’s out of the water. Plus it cute too and it serves as baby’s play toy while she’s in the tub. Will purchase again for anybody in my family or friends that will have a baby as a gift.

I think a highlight of bath time for my baby is being able to grab and chew on "ducky". For me, since I have issues in measuring water temperature, it gives me the confidence of giving a bath to my baby by myself. For other parents that have put baby in water that was too hot- this is great! Definitely keep the instructions, because I can't figure out how to change from c to f without it. Also, after months of using this i'm not sure it's still beeping when it's too hot and cold, and I don't use their time options. I really like it just for the temperature measurement. If they had a simplified version I would prefer that.

I'm not a very good judge of water temperature so I don't trust my judgement when getting the bath ready for my babies. This duck gives me piece of mind that the temperature is just right for them and I don't have to worry about the water being too hot or too cold. I was a little confused by the directions. It wasn't clear what the safe range actually is but the red light/alarm was obviously signaling too hot.

I purchased this to monitor bath temperatures during my pregnancy (and when the little guy arrives, for his baths too!). It works great! I set an alert for if the bath water is getting too hot, so I know to adjust the faucet as the water fills. I also love the timer feature. You can either have a timer count down and alert you, or you can just set it in the water and it will track its total time. Definitely worth purchasing.

I needed a little help with getting the right temperature of the bath water. I compared a couple of baby thermometer models available on Amazon and bought this duckie. It’s slightly pricier than other models, but it seems nicely made, and it has additional functions such as a timer and clock. The included instruction clearly explains how to switch the temperature units between degrees Celsius and degrees Fahrenheit. I like that the thermometer activates automatically as it touches the water, and I don’t need to slap or shake it. I also like that this thermometer doesn’t beep all the time and only does it when the water temperature is out of the recommended range. The design is cute and safe. The baby is not going to bite something off and choke on it. We’ve been using this thermometer for two months. It didn’t leak, and the included battery is still working.

This duck bath thermometer is awesome. It works great When the water is too cold the light will turn green while too hot will turn red. Therefore it's very easy and safe to control the temperature.

Use this when we bathe my son. Love being able to check water temperature because what my husband thinks is hot is different than what I think is hot. This solves that problem and our son is safe. The light is great because sometimes water splashes on the display and the numbers glare harder to read. Even the beeping when too hot is great when you're filling up the tub and not looking at the temperature.

This is the second temperature checking bath duck we have purchased. The first was a Munchin brand, which didn’t work beyond the first bath, as it always says “hot” now. After reading product reviews, we decided to purchase this one. It’s a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for. This one flashes to alert you when the water is too hot or too cold, and it displays the temperature in a digital readout. We easily switched it from Fahrenheit to Centigrade. The temperature readout is accurate (as tested against another thermometer), and it quickly updates as the water cools down. It has an automatic shutoff to preserve the battery, and is reliably water proof. I wish we had bought this one long ago.

Instructions to switch from C to F were a little confusing but we got it figured out. Works great so far--we've used it for a few weeks and multiple baths. I like knowing the exact temperature of the bath instead of just a vague red/white hot indicator, so this is exactly what I was looking for.
