Love this product!

We use these almost every day! Love the value and durability. Big enough to cover just about any plate or serving dish! I can cover a large cookie sheet with one tent while cooling cookies, etc. great for chips or anything you want to leave out for awhile and not worry about flies or ants.

sturdy enough to attach to my square foot garden frame with clothespins. Done! Like how compactly they store too!

I bought these to protect small plantings in my garden and they work great for that! I love that I didn't have to go driving around searching for them. A friend used these at a recent picnic and now that I am gardening--it is an inexpensive way to keep birds away from my young strawberry plants. Birds also like to eat the beans off the green bean sprouts which often kills them. Not this season boys!

Not great in wind

I have not used for food but using to cover seedlings to keep bugs off until ready to transplant. I did have to anchor them down because they are lightweight. All in all, for the price, I think they will work for my purpose. Not sure how durable they are. Won't know until my plants are bigger. Had trouble getting them folded back to original position. Since i am using them somewhat continuously and not for the purpose intended, this probably is not the best review for this item.

Outdoor/Indoor Friendly

This is my second order of these umbrellas. I have two but found myself trying to determine which foods would get protection so I bought this 6-pack. What I like is that these last and last. If you get food on them, just rinse in a little cool water; dunk in warm soapy water; open and let dry. All 6 will fit in a small space when closed. Simple umbrella mechanism so there is really nothing to malfunction.

Stood up

These stood up better than I had hoped for. After reading some of the reviews I was a little wary but they worked great. I was able to put multiple plates inside of them and no bugs or critters were able to get to the goodies underneath. One did get some nacho cheese on the edge as it was covering the chips next to the cheese. I was able to spot clean the area and set it out to dry. It dried and looked just like new. The mechanism was sturdy and stood up without any issues.

Great

These keep bugs off food so 5 stars. My 5yo daughter took one and sat it over a strawberry plant she had planted and put bricks and rocks on the 4 sides at the base to weigh it down to stop our neighbourhood rabbit getting to the plant. It sat outside all Summer in the sun and rain and it is still in quite good condition. If I didn't have 5 more of them I'd consider washing it because I think it would clean up well. She can use it again next year if the plant survives winter.

I'm using these in my square foot vegetable garden to protect newly planted seeds and seedlings from critters. They will also protect against bugs if you can seal them tight to the dirt. I use a few big rocks on the edges but can't seal them tightly due to my soaker hoses. They are working and sprouts are growing!

Great design, easy to use

I bought these to protect my "baby" plants from my gardeners' over-zealous weed whacking. They are the perfect size, and their pull cord umbrella opening make them super-easy to use. I've got my fingers crossed my plants will survive this time around! I'm sure they would be equally handy for picnics.

Very handy at a bbq

These are super handy. We have a lot of bbq's where we put everything on a buffet and these keep the bugs off the food and take up very little space when closed. Super light weight yet don't blow away (they might on the beach. i have just used at home). Will cover a large plate.
