Awesomely constructed!!

As a grandma I have seen/used this type of item many times. I can honestly say that these are by far the most satisfying product yet. They are made of high-quality materials and are put together wonderfully. While they are very safe, they are also very durable. The swivel is an added convenience making it ver hard to get tangle up with my little one. The bracelet on the child size has added protection with a two-step fastener which is ingenious. So much greater than those flimsy little “telephone cord” leashes I’ve seen!

Effective Without Limiting Child's Fun

I never thought I'd be "that" parent, who wanted a leash or anything similar for their child. The first time I took my toddler to a busy aquarium and he kept running/wandering away from me to go explore something that caught his eye and would scream if I tried to just carry him or put him in his stroller, I reconsidered my stance on these types of products. I know every child is different, but my kid has never been upset to wear this. They're comfortable and easily adjustable for both the child and adult. They have a great stretch to them. We've only used them a handful of times (at arcades, walking trails, busy museums, etc.) and I've been pleasantly surprised at how my child doesn't mind it. He is able to get pretty far away when wearing it and I can definitely feel the tug when he starts to wander. As he gets further away and the cord stretches to its max, he feels the tug and tends to look back towards me and then get a little closer to me. It keeps him connected to me while still allowing him the freedom to move about how he wants. Being a mom, I'm also always a bit worried about child nappers (attempted cases have been all over the news lately where I live) and I feel like it'd be a bit harder for someone to try and steal my child when he's connected to me this way. The more I use it, the less self conscious I feel about using it. Both my child and I have a better time when we're out at busy and crowded attractions when we wear this because we aren't fighting each other on him wanting free will and me wanting to hold him so he doesn't run off. I haven't used any other type of child "leash" but I don't think I'll need to try any others after using this one. One tip: attach it to your non-dominant hand as it's really awkward to do things with your dominant hand when you have a child attached to it!

With two runners and a baby this is a must have for me now! We have been using them for our high energy 2 and 4 year olds and have no complaints. They are so much nicer then the backpack harnesses we have tried to use in the past and my kids enjoy them more. I feel like my children are are much more safe when out and about. When I start unloading the kids from the van I can easily keep them from running off. I was worried about it jerking our wrists, but I have been surprised at how comfortable it is when the kids do tug at it. I have even hooked the adult cuff to my shopping cart and stroller. I highly recommend these if your looking for a way to keep your kids close.

Sturdy, comfy and two in a pack!

This is super awesome! I had looked at other versions of this product, but none of them have the metal core inside the coil. My 7yo was concerned that the cord might break, but when I showed it to her, she was satisfied that she would not be able to lose her Momma, no matter how much tugging she does. Not to say that it wouldn't be easier if she just would stay in sight, bit some kids are harder to train than others. I love that it came with two, since I have more than one kiddo (and even though the younger one doesn't need the tether, she doesn't want to feel left out). The soft fabric inside the strap is great, but what I love is that the kids' end is complicated to undo. It's not impossible, but you have to undo two layers of Velcro to get it off, and there's no way they can get that much accomplished without you noticing their escape.

Potentially a Lifesaver for Parents With Little Kids!

Worked great for keeping our 3 y/o tethered to us while we were in the water at the beach, just on the off chance of a large wave knocking over my wife (it happened and it was beyond terrifying for all of us) and knocking him out of our arms, he came close to drowning and as a parent that is one of the most terrifying things a parent can experience. Thankfully we only ended up with some water logged kids and the wife with some anxiety and guilt of course none of which was actually legitimate but enough to make me go after a preventative measure. I next day'ed these guys from the beach and we got them in time for the last day or two at the beach and they seemed to do pretty well, we also put one on our 8 year old since the waves were rather rough for her just to be on the safe side. They worked as advertised and we are very happy with them, they are also very comfortable and very fairly priced. Thanks for the good product! Oh and they came with some free whistles (good for when the kids are off playing within far eye sight, not good for car rides, I suggest hiding them or packing them away before traveling)!

Very pleased Mommy!

Call me over protective but I've had nightmares about bringing my toddler to the beach. Ive always been against "leashes" but I needed something to calm my anxiety about taking my youngest to the beach. Especially since my little guy has a habit of making me chase him! This worked wonders! He had his space to roam but I was close enough to grab him if need be. Needless to say our first trip to the beach was a success! It's not just a plastic cord either it has wire coils inside! So it's super durable! I'm pleased! Will purchase again and recommend to others!

Great for vacation! Or daily use as well++++++

These harnesses are amazing. Are used to be the mom who would never want to use the leash on my kid but I have a toddler who is very hard to keep under control and does not want to ride in the stroller or wants to be carried but with you it allows them to have freedom of moving around they are comfortable and he loves it and when we use this I know that he is safe and he is within reach and I don’t have to worry about him. I would recommend to anyone with kids!

I really needed this.

I adopted my grandson and found at 60 and him at 2 he can out run me so I found this is perfect. Even tried them in the house as trial. I can’t run as fast as I used to. I especially like the way they have made them so clever little monkeys can’t escape. The Velcro over lapping two ways is smart thinking. I have a Houdini that climbs everything and he can’t get out of these. Hum the possibilities!

Awesome for airports or crowded places

I LOVE this product. Traveling with a toddler and infant is scary. Human Trafficking is a huge problem, as a volunteer for O.U.R, I know how quickly a child can be taken. I needed something that would put my mind to ease a little bit while juggling things and trying to maneuver an international airport. I don't agree with the harness backpacks I've found as it takes two seconds to cut the strap and take your child with you not paying attention. I needed something more. This design is what I was looking for. Steel cable, and the length is perfect. I found the longer length to give just enough distance that she could walk still and have a little freedom while her feeling safe and close to mom and dad and we felt comfortable too. Besides the cable cord, the Velcro is heavy duty and it really sticks. It's not a cheap, quickly yank and it's open type of Velcro. The child's Velcro wrist strap also is doubled, with the top securing one way, and the strap underneath securing the opposite direction for security. It won't be possible for someone to quickly yank the Velcro open and remove your child's wrist. They will have to remove both Velcro secures before being able to get to your child's wrist and remove it. Extremely impressed and I love this design. I hope more parents give this a try. And don't worry about any looks. I'd rather have my child safe than gone. Look all you want.

A MUST have for spectrum homes

A must have for kiddos that wander... my son is 7 and as large as a normal 11 yr old , hes prone to wandering and doesnt understand danger these are one of the only products that fit and that he willing wears!
