Great device for half the price of official go pro model

So far so good, it seems like if your go pro and the remote are both under water for a moment they will lose connection. But other than that its super easy and connects with no issues. Using for Hero 5 black.

Have not tried it in water, but i tried it a some good distances and it worked great! I love the star button that lets you pick a favorite setting to go to with the push of the star button! Super convenient when you have a case covering the touchscreen (I’m using with go pro 5).

First one worked for 2 months. A replacement is working great!

I really wanted to get a decent remote which I could use for my GoPro to record and take pictures. I thought I had found a good option for the first 2 months. But then, the remote suddenly stopped working with my gopro. Pairing and using the remote was simple enough when I first got it, then after a few weeks of non use, I charged the remote and tried using it while I was out on a hike, but the thing would not work. It turned on, but did nothing. I tried re-pairing, but nothing. Dont waste your money on 3rd party remotes, just get the office GoPro accessories.. I cant even return this because I dont have the box and its outside the return period. Paperweight for me now. EDIT: Customer service got in touch with me regarding my remote. They sent me another remote to replace my faulty one. The new one arrived in great condition. I managed to pair it with my GoPro and everything is working fine. I have updated the review to show great customer service, and their efforts to make things right for the customer. As for now, the remote is working really well! I would recommend this to a friend.
