Well made product

These are heavy duty and awesome. I usually buy a cheaper pair of kitchen scissors and they only last a short time before they break. These are heavy duty and SHARP. I cut up chicken and it was so easy. Never going back to the dollar store version again. Five stars for quality and durability.

Sharp!

What a great pair of scissors. I just used them to cut chicken breasts into strips and was pleasantly surprised at how well they cut. I haven't tried the seafood scissors, but I think they will equally work as well.

These kitchen shears are sharp, well made and comfortable in you hand. I haven't used the seafood scissors as of yet, however the quality appears to be the same. It would be nice if they came in a special case to hold them in!!! Also not made in the USA so I am wondering how long they will work for my kitchen use. I did use the bonus scissors for cutting my king crab legs! Worked great!

Great kitchen shears at a great price!

These are great kitchen shears! We had a pair of Kitchenaide shears we used for years, and when those finally failed, I needed some that would not be a disappointment. The Gidli shears fit the bill wonderfully! They are well-built, feel light in your hand, and cut precisely and easily. They also come with a smaller pair, which is designed for seafood, but they can be used for whatever you want, and are every bit as good. I highly recommend these shears.

these are very nice shears. As soon as I received them I had to use them. Sharp, sharp, sharp. and the little cover for the scissors is great. Keeps the blades from becoming dull. Haven't used the shrimp scissors yet, but I'm sure they will be just fine.

great shears

I wanted a shears for the kitchen that could cut thru chicken skin. This does it beautifully. Also since I have arthritis in my thumb and it is larger at the knuckle the shears is large enough for my thumbs and very comfortable. I'm very happy with it. The case that comes with it is also a nice feature.

Very sturdy; Well made

I am very pleased with this purchase. I use them on everything: raw meat and chicken, cooked meats and of course all kinds of veggies. An excellent purchase. The handles are made of stainless steel as well so they hold up to heavy use. These were a replacement for a different brand (which broke after one use!) because the handle was made of plastic. These are the best. And, the seafood scissors cut through lobster shells and crab shells. I love this set!!!! Someone asked whether these would work for left handed people. I am not sure. The serrated edge seems to be on one side so that may hinder the left hand usage.

Lightweight and sharp

I have been using the same heavy pair of scissors in my kitchen for years. They are getting rusty so decided to try these. The large shears are very light and sharp, with big spaces for my fingers. They can be used left-handed or right-handed, a bonus in my mixed-handed house! The extra pair will work well for lobster or crab.
