Gave my hubby as part of a bbq basket, he loves it... he just tested my daughters bath, it measured 102.4 degrees, seems a little on the rare side...

Great product!

We were very happy with the Kizen meat thermometer. We used it to cook a 16-pound prime rib on Christmas and it was perfect! Customer service has been outstanding. I received a follow up email with a compilation of suggestions for most effective use and another reminding me that the product is under warranty should we have any issues. A instant read thermometer is a must for anyone grilling or cooking meat, poultry or fish. This is the secret to not over cooking! This is the best food thermometer I have ever owned. Would definately recommend to my friends or anyone looking to purchase a thermometer. Good vale too!

Great Digital Thermometer

I am very happy with this meat thermometer. It easily inserts into any meat allowing you to get it into the perfect depth for measuring the heat therefore getting an accurate reading. The format on the front helps in choosing rare, well-done etc.. The unit fits comfortably into my hand. I was thrilled that I could also use this grilling steak and chops on my Weber grille.

Well Worth a Little Extra Money

I decided to spend a few more bucks and get this instead of the cheaper ones for sale. I'm so glad I did. This one reads faster and automatically shuts down when you fold the probe into the handle. It is also nicely packaged with spare (button) batteries. No more cheapies (that last a few months) for me!

Accurate Readings AlwaysThis

This was a gift for my husband for Christmas. He has since used it several times, and he is VERY happy with it. He likes the overall size, the fact that the probe folds into the thermometer and is easy to clean and store. He also likes that the reading is digital and shows the correct temperature within seconds. Finally, he likes that there is a temperature guide on the thermometer where it is easy to see what the temperature should be for the product to be thoroughly cooked.

Works well, reasonable price

I bought this to use with my Big Green Egg - now that I have that level of temperature control, the old look and poke method no longer works; I need to actually know the internal temperatures of my meat. I looked at the various remote monitoring thermometers, but didn't want to have to insert probes through the gasket on my Egg. So I started looking into instant read digital thermometers. I got this one less than a week ago, and have been using it extensively. I checked it's calibration with both an ice bath and boiling water, and it was spot on. It's very intuitive to use - unfolding the probe turns it on, folding it turns it back off. And it does read really quickly - within a second or two. So I can check my meats' temps really quickly and get the Egg closed back up again. Bottom line: I love it. It works, it includes useful extras (like the stick on pads for cushioning/not scratching the refrigerator, and an extra battery), and it's inexpensive. Hard to go wrong there.

Big Improvement over our older Thermometer

This takes temperatures in seconds, I used to have to hold my hand over a hot pot or stove for minutes waiting for the temp, but now its almost instant. I wish I would have bought this years ago, its been a life saver. When you cook a lot and want to make sure your meats are complete its very useful. The magnet makes it easy to hand on the fridge near the stove for instant use. It cleans up easy and ready for the next meal. I would recommend this to everyone.
