I bought one of these capos after using the same old one since 1962. It did a great job holding down my acoustic guitar steel strings without any buzzing. It's pretty easy to put on but may not be easy to move in the middle of playing a song because it has a powerful spring that takes a good grip to open without it springing out of your hand. But I liked it a lot and so I ordered a second one for my other guitar.

Very nice capo, I like the wood-like finish, it matches my guitar finish. I play guitar for 14 years so I have an experience with stuff like that, this one feels really nice, holds the strings tight but not too tight to lose intonation. Works great, I love it.

I use this product for my classical guitars when I'm playing Renaissance and some Baroque music to "simulate" the supposedly higher tuning of that period. I was using an old gold capo and I had intonation issues with that because the rubber part wasn't long enough to fit the wide neck of a classical. These rosewood capos are just the ticket for me! Perfect intonation! Highly recommended! Although, I thought the capo was actually made of rosewood, it is not. While I do not use picks on my classical, on do on my electrics so that was a nice bonus.

This is a nice capo, especially for the price. The wood grain look is nice also and goes well with my acoustic guitar. It's not real wood but who cares? It has nice tension and doesn't allow any string buzz. Some have said the tension is to strong for them to open easily but I didn't find it a problem. I would take one that's too strong over a weak one any day. The 4 picks included is a nice little extra.

The Capo is very nice and feels very well made, the spring is strong and therefor the force needed to open it for placement and relocation on the neck is more than I have used on other capos, so maneuverability is not great, but the capo is always firmly set on the guitar, I am using it on Classical/Spanish guitars from Mexico which have a slightly fatter neck and of course makes even more difficult, a Japanese guitar which is slimmer, is slightly easier, but not much. Overall works great.

I purchased this as a stocking stuffer for my husband to use on his Seagull classical guitar. It is very sturdy and much nicer-looking than the standard black capo he had been using. He has told me repeatedly how nice this is and how much he likes it.

The capo works on my Banjo, guitars, including my classical and stays put without a problem. I have slipped on on the fly to change key when another instrument did a solo. I am completely happy. I had an injured finger for a bit and couldn't try it out but once I did I was impressed.

I wish I would have known about these capos before. Just returned a poor quality Dunlop and decided to try this one. Boy, what a difference! Strong spring action and smart looking. Even better, it was almost half the price less than the Dunlop. Wingo rocks!

In my opinion, this particular capo is just the thing for use on a classical acoustic guitar. It's well-built and it has a very strong spring that keeps the guitar strings solidly down - without any fret buzz whatsoever. In addition, the upper guitar string pad is plenty long enough to cover all of your classical guitar strings. Also, I feel that the price on it is quite reasonable for what you get. I haven't tried out the picks yet, but from the look of them, I would suspect that they're OK. Good job, Wingo -- you get my vote! And yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Great capo, rivals that of others that I've had of the same design (starts with K) over the years at 1/3 the price. Used it on every guitar I own, no issues. Spring is strong and holds well. Protective rubber adhered well to product, not coming unglued or degrading yet. All said, it holds well, is out of the way and for the price you can't beat it, it does what it was intended for.
