Perfect Pizza Made a pizza and it came out perfect, beautifully browned with a crisp bottom. When it came out of the oven it was just like carry-out, except it was hot. Even though the box said pre-seasoned, I seasoned the pan before using it. I also used a pastry brush to spread a little olive oil on the bottom before placing the dough and put it in a 400 degree F oven at the lowest rack position. 25 minutes later the kitchen was filled with the wonderful aroma of a pizza shop. I worked in restaurants and bakeries and this pan produced the same quality crust as a pizza stone, but was much easier to use with no need for a peel or semolina that will get all over the bottom of the oven. I made a scratch dough using a Bobby Flay recipe from the food network, but I don’t see why this pan wouldn’t work just as well with a frozen dough. The pizza lifted right out of the pan with no problem, I put the pizza on a large cutting board because I didn’t want to cut it in the pan. After cooling, the pan cleaned up good as new with a little soap and water. I can’t think of anything I don’t like about this pan. Amazon did a great job and I would recommend this pan to anyone who wants to make authentic carry-out pizza at home. I imagine this would also be a great pan for calzones, I am going to try that when the weather cools down.

This pan is fantastic. I have been making my own pizza for two years now... I am always looking to improve my process and as a result my pizza. Up until this Christmas, I have solely made thin crust. I decided to give a thick crust pan style pizza a go with this pan and was beyond thrilled with the results. Homemade pizza is where this pan shines. Others are using it for frozen pizza... I suppose that's a thing, but it's not exactly what the pan was intended for. Others have mentioned rust issues. This confuses me. Simply put... don't put water on it. Wipe it out when you are done... that's part of the seasoning process. If you must use water, put it back in a warm oven for a while so that it can be completely dried out. In short... If you take your pizza seriously, this is a tool you'll want to have in your arsenal.

Bought this for my father for his birthday since he likes to make his own pizzas every Sunday for the family. He loved it. Crust is crispy and perfect.

Best pizza ever. Pan is heavy and heats evenly. Baked the best, crispy deep dish (deep-ish - not Chicago deep) pizza I’ve ever had. I now make pizza at least once a week because of this pan. Awesome purchase.

After a bunch of review reading, I went with the Amazon's choice which happens to be an Amazon product. The pan arrived well packed and intact and according to the product insert...already seasoned. Being suspicious, I re-seasoned with some flax seed oil, but I'm really not sure it was needed. My guess is that you could give it a light wash/dry and use as is. We used a parchment paper cartouche *under* the pizza crust which insured non-stick and crispy bottom. This pan is also great for quesadillas, blinis, etc. A nice cast iron addition to the collection of kitchen hardware. Would definitely buy again.

It was a little bigger than I expected, even though it gave the correct dimensions in the description, so my bad. It is superior quality and if you spray the bottom with cooking spray (per instructions), it makes a wonderful pizza...

I bought this for my hubby's birthday. He loves pizza 🍕 and often makes it from scratch. I chose it because of the reviews saying it bakes the best pizza ever. Well, he was sceptical when he opened it. I said give it a try, it has great reviews. He did and he LOVES it! He thought the dough would stick to it but it doesn't. It browns nicely and releases with ease. I heard the same comment from him...The best pizza ever.

I use this pan all the time. It pays for itself. Gives a wonderfully crisp bottom to the pizza. Both the deepness of the pan and the grooves inside allow you to oil the dough liberally to make awesome pan pizzas.
