I bought this for my son to play with since he is obsessed with pirates. I was amazed that it actually works. I have caught myself using it to see what my crazy neighbors are doing or what cars are coming down the street. I should probably get myself one rather than stealing my son's lol. It comes with a nice case and just looks beautiful. I have the best dressed pirate on the street.

High Quality NOT a toy

Out of the box clear concise instuctions. Comes with a cleaning cloth and a zippered pouch that can be used as a wristlet or carried on your belt. Compact and extends easily. High quality the lens is even coated like more expensive models. I like that may be compact but still has 25x magnification. Easy to share and a simp!e slight twist and it is in focus. No distortion even when I am looking out my kitchen window to deer on the hill.

great gift for birthday and Christmas

Purchased it as a gift for a friend's son. It is very high quality. Very compact with a leather like protective carrying case. Perfect for camping and bird watching. Not sure if it's water proof. Would make a great gift for birthday and Christmas.

Real Zoom

I thought this as a toy, but this had a real incredible zoom. Comes in a leather pouch, looks very authentic pirate telescope. For first I couldn't see anything and then realized, I have to aim at an object far away, at least 500 metres to get a sharp image. Did not expect this efficient telescope for this price. Extremely happy with the purchase.

Great little spyglass!

I bought this for my daughter's pirate costume and was surprised at how nice the quality is. It looks very authentic and she enjoyed using it at the nature preserve to get a closer look at animals. It collapses so it's easy to take with you and has a nice travel case.

Awesome gift

My 4 year old is turning 5 tomorrow and he wanted to be a pirate. So I got him this. This is extremely well made and the price is extremely reasonable. Most of all, this works! Now we can take him to the tree house for him to play pirate!

Functional, Clear View and at a very good price for a well-made product!

I purchased two of these as Christmas, one for my 10 year old daughter and one for my 69 year old Father-in-law for when they watch for birds out in the yard. The scope is nicely made; it has a durable feel to it, easy adjustment, folds in compact enough to keep in a pocket and has clear new! For the amount of money, I was expecting a toy or something not easily used; I was wrong, it has a great lens and functions as stated beyond expectations!
