This is a great wire kit, love the silicone insulation which is much easier to work with and solder with than the typical plastic, which is hard to strip and melts under heat. I think this is tinned copper wire, but I was at first worried it was aluminum. Very satisfied with this purchase so far.

Very good COPPER wire.

Yes, it is copper! Tinned copper strands (about 30) and the insulation is this very soft and flexible silicone. /the wire is somewhat like the wire used on good test meters (like Fluke, etc.) only at 18 gauge it's a bit smaller diameter. My test for copper is to strip a couple of inches and then draw the strands through fine (320 grit) sandpaper. It took about 5 pulls through the sandpaper to reveal the copper core that was underneath the tinning.

Exactly as advertised, crazy soft insulation that is marked correctly

Soft insulation that withstand very high temperature, true gauge wire. others complained that insulation not marked but mine is clearly marked in white ink on every color but white. white still marked but with grey ink. very please with this wire and will definitely buy more when run out.

Excellent Quality

Excellent quality wire with flexible coating. Doing a re-wiring project on and 80’s C10 and like the different colors. The box is a clever dispenser which makes it easy to get the right amount of wire for your application. Easy to strip and solder. Wish it came in more colors.

Flexible wire

I'm rebuilding my tricopter and got this wire for the signal wires on the drone. It works nicely, is easy to solder, and is very flexible.

Perfect if you need a little bit of multicolored waire

I keep buying small spools of different colored wire when I make changes to my cars and trucks and I keep them in a box. This is great to have all of the colors at my fingertips and not unraveled in a box. I am going to have to buy more of these in different sizes. GREAT PRODUCT. I AM GLAD I FOUND THIS.
