Great frame at a great price.

Pretty good frame for the price I paid, easy to insert picture and to hang. Also, the box it came in was perfect, it had all the appropriate protection for shipping. Black Semigloss finish was fairly similar to my dinning table so it looked great. Will definetly be purchasing more items from this company

Perfect perfect perfect.

I admire craftsmanship that uses forethought in the design. The wood is well strong enough, jointed well so it won’t fall apart, and the hardware is pre-mounted for horizontal or vertical hanging. One merely has to install the plastic-coated wire across the hangers, and bingo, you’re on your way. Installation of a poster was a breeze. The plastic picture cover is protected with a tear-off plastic coating, so it will look good once the protection is removed. You can use the backing and the plastic cover sheet to sandwich the poster in-between, then place that assembly inside the frame. Worked for me. Just a thought. Your way may be better. I’ve purchased frames from Americanflat before, and I’m sure I will again.

Get what you pay for. This frame is worth it.

Excellent frame. Well packaged for shipping. Nice to get a frame you don't have to fight with to insert a poster. Well engineered placement of the metal hardware screwed (not stapled) into the frame back for the included wire handing material. And not that cheap junk that you get in a picture hanging kit at the hardware store, this material has a plastic coating over it, similar to standard wire insulation. That bare stuff, it tends to separate and ends up becoming a finger hazard when using. This stuff, much better. It's more expensive than some other frames, but you get what you pay for. This frame is indeed worth it.

Great Picture Frame

Purchased this after seeing it at a friends house. I actually bought 3 different sizes since I have many pictures to hang. This is a nice heavy-duty frame, stronger than other frames I've seen, and it's very easy to insert the picture into the frame. It's also very simple to hang the frame on the wall.

Made my painting look great

I bought this frame for a watercolor piece I did a month ago to gift to a friend for her birthday. It’s different from other frames I’ve bought from Americanflat. Not only in how much bigger it is than the other ones I’ve bought (11x14) but the way you hang it as well. The difference in how you hang this frame might well depend on how big it is, though. The painting fit perfectly inside the frame and it wasn’t difficult at all to hang. My friend has her gift wonderfully displayed up on her wall.

Great Frame: Plexiglass for Art Shows

Great frame and love the plexiglass since my art shows do not allow real glass. Would love an option for a hanging wire!

Good low cost option

Was pleasantly surprised with how durable it is. There were a bunch of black frames available, some with sketchy review histories so I thought I'd let everyone know this was a good one.

Good quality for price, would buy again

This frame has plexiglass instead of glass, which actually was better because it decreased the weight of the frame or the risk of breakage

Better looking in person

I really love this frame for the price. Really has a good back board...super easy to load picture. Plexi covered so it didn't didn't get scratched. Leaving outside on since I'm shipping it to Texas. Will buy this brand again.

Only way to go!

High quality frames, and man, do they pack them right! For only a little bit more than the cheap plastic poster frames, you get a wood frame, non-scratched plexiglass, and best of all, shipped in a box that almost guarantees there's not gonna be any damage! 5 stars for sure!
