Excellent Quality and Sturdy Construction

I like everything about these. I've ordered others that are too thin and flimsy. These work great, the curves have an inking edge built in, they are clear or dark green and see-through. The circle and square templates are clearly marked. I'm using these to illustrate a graphic novel and only wish that I'd found them sooner. They are solidly built too. If you're considering these or another brand, you will not be disappointed with this set.

My Favorite Stencil and French Curve Set

For my drawing: this set is by far my favorite that I’ve used. Lol and I’ve used a lot of different products; in-fact, sometimes it feels like my actual hobby is collecting art supplies :p. Anyways; the stencils are made from a quality plastic (at least I think it’s plastic) they are bendable and don’t snap in two. The measurements are clearly marked, and hasn’t started to fade; even after traveling in my backpack for a month and rubbing up against things. I honestly don’t use stencils or French curves very often while drawing. But it’s an important tool when I do need something to be proportionally “perfect”. Although, the small stencil that comes with this set is actually one of my favorite drawing tools; because its small enough to survive as a bookmark in my sketch book. Personally I would buy this set again just for that little stencil. The French Curves are okay for what I wanted. I’m not a big fan of the hard plastic; it will scratch and I’m sure it wouldn’t be tough to accidentally break one while traveling or w/e. But I can’t knock it for that, because it keeps the set affordable. However, one critique about the curves that I think is fair: I wish the edges of the curves were raised a bit more to help me keep the edge off the page while using these to ink. If you get ink on the edge of the curve, it’s easy to make a mistake while lifting the curve off the page or setting it back down. All in all I believe Mr. Pen makes the best stencil set for the money. I have to say that stencils can make drawing more difficult than it needs to be, because it’s easy to become overwhelmed trying to choose exactly the right sized shape. But Mr. Pen has done a good job of simplifying their stencils into the shapes and sizes I need for those tough moments that call for some assistance. Charles

Great set and fantastic price

I really like this set a lot, I only wish I would have purchased them years ago. ALL of the items included in this set are durable and are of very good quality. I will definitely be buying from Mr. Pen again. The price was fantastic and the shipping was what you would expect as a Prime customer. There was also a cute mustache sticker included ;)

Perfect for Art

I had to order this for my Art class as part of my art supplies. I never knew what a French curve was and what to do with it. But purchasing it, I created some good drawings with it! As far as a French curve go, this was definitely worth the purchase. Also, I love the little mustache sticker that comes with it :)

What a nice bit of kit

Well, it's obvious what these are. I airbrush, so they get a lot of paint on them. I soak them in Createx restor and the paint comes off. The ones I use for auto paints eventually have to be discarded due to paint build up. At this price, it's nothing to replace them as needed. What a nice bit of kit, too! You get the French curves, the circles and shapes.The material they are made of is good too, they clean easily. These get a LOT of use !!!! It's just the basics, but they got it right !!! It's like a carpenter having a hammer and saw, he uses them all day and depends on them.

Useful set for anyone still doing on paper drafting and design.

For all of us, drafting old-schoolers, having a good french curves set is very important. I was missing my original set, which was lost in between home moves several years ago, and I've got the same value and usefulness with this one. The material looks good and resistant enough for some medium to heavy usage.

Very Nice Quality

These French curves were very high quality and a beautiful color. They are a little transparent, which I like because you can see your fabric through it. The French curves also came with a stencil that were very useful for drawing circles. My favorite thing about this product is that it came with a free mustache sticker.

Need It? GET IT!

I love this little set! It included everything I needed at a very reasonable price. The items aren’t inferior to others I’ve used. They are standard, basically sturdy items. I can’t recommend this enough!

Good for recreational use

I only used the transparent circles. I use them for recreational purpose. I only used pencils so I don't know whether pens will bleed with these. The set is easy to use, not too thick to be inflexible and not too thin to be flimsy. Price is reasonable too.
