Deliverd when expected and great value

Replaced the original HP battery in my laptop and this was a perfect replacement. It was delivered when they said it would be here and it came with simple instructions to condition it for a long life. I will recommend this product to anyone that needs a replacement battery.

It's alive!

My 2009 HP pavilion dv5t-1000 battery would no longer hold a charge, and for the last few years only worked if plugged in. Thought I'd give this a shot for the price. Works perfect and allows me to finally use my laptop without a plug. Not sure about the battery life, but very happy with the purchase so far.

Wonderful battery!

I was worried I wasn't going to be able to find a battery to fit my old laptop. Although it wasn't my main computer, I needed a working battery in it for the occasions when I was working on it and couldn't maintain constant electrical connection. This battery fits perfectly and has more than enough runtime on battery. It cost a lot less than I expected to have to spend for a battery.

its a laptop battery that fit my HP71 computer. Directions have bad english but you shouldnt need directions in the first place. there was a card in the box that said if I gave them a 5 star review they would add 12 more months onto my warranty. "Would happily add more 12 months warranty for your 5-star review.' offering to add warranty months for a 5 star review only serves to make the reviews FAKE doesnt it? How can Amazon allow this sort of FAKE review request to go on? Seems President Trump is exactly right about Fake news and how Amazon and Facebook need regulations imposed.

I have had my laptop since Jan 2nd 2010, and have had to replace multiple chargers and batteries for it over the years. My last battery was less than a year old when it stopped taking a charge, so I knew I wouldn't buy that brand again. After reading through all the verified purchase reviews, I decided to try this one. So far it has done everything that I would expect of a battery -- the computer recognizes it as an authentic battery (so the charge meter works), it charges pretty fast (a little over an hour for a 0-100% charge), and it lasts a LONG time when unplugged. Even while running multiple apps, the battery lasts for over 2 hours before I need to plug it in. It has only been a month, if anything changes I'll update. But for now I'm completely satisfied. **EDIT** I've now had this battery for over a year, and it's still performing well. It still holds a good charge and lasts around 2 hours. One tip to make sure you extend the life of your battery is to never just leave your laptop plugged in. let it completely charge, then disconnect the charger and reconnect it once the battery is drained. I used to always leave my laptop plugged in unless I was using it away from the charger, and have had to replace the battery several times over the past 9 years. The battery I had before this one didn't even last a year before I had to replace it, so this one is well worth the $17 I spent!

Good quality battery at a decent price!

The battery fit my laptop perfectly and works great! Battery lasts roughly 2-3 hours (depending on usage, display brightness, etc.) and charges relatively quickly as well. The price is pretty good too. The only negative is that it came with roughly 4% battery wear (according to BatteryBar), which is not ideal, and although it doesn't really affect the discharge time right now, it's that much less battery for future decay. All in all though, considering price and my use so far, I would definitely recommend!

Finally after years of precariously balancing my laptop so the cord wouldn't fall out, I no longer have to worry about losing all of my work. This battery probably works better than the rest of the laptop and is probably worth more at this point too.

Better value than expected

The price of the laptop replacement battery was considerably less than what I expected based upon HP branded replacements. The replacement battery arrived in less than 3 days, well packaged. The battery was easy to install with no issues. I fully discharged (<10%) the battery while using the laptop per instructions, getting expected amount of use. The Laptop was then plugged in and the new battery fully recharged. My machine has been running without issue for the past week.

Great replacement!

This battery saved the day. My Original battery stopped working and my laptop wouldn't boot up without it. Bought this replacement and its worked great. Only downside is you have to discharge the battery to 3% then charge it. You can't completely drain it or they say it will wreak it. So I had to sit and watch it til it drain down. Besides that very happy with it.
