The way my house sits, the sun always shines directly into my bedroom window. It wakes me up because it is so bright already so early at 6 a.m. I was able to place this over my window although I had to cut it a few times because my window is not long but it is wide and it has totally remedied that issue. I would highly recommend it does cling to the window without damaging it or having any residue. Pretty awesome.

Will completely darken your room if used right.

I work night shift and sometimes with blackout curtains, a little bit of daylight slips through. I have used window tinting before, but light still came through although much dimmer. When properly installed though, this privacy tint lets no light in at all. I myself am a novice at installation but this was pretty easy to use and the only issue I had was when my blade didn't cut the vinyl properly and I had a rip or two. The instructions are very clear and concise. Would purchase again if I didn't have surplus stock already!

Best investment for heat and privacy!! Easy to install

Love this! Living in AZ...my garage gets so hot. I figured why not try this. It was super easy to apply I applied it to all of my garage windows and I hardly feel very much heat there is still heat in there but literally probably 90% of the heat here in Arizona at 120 degrees is gone

Easy stick on- just use a little water and stick ...

WONDERFULLLLLLL! Just make sure you actually measure and cut lol I didn't... and I stuck it on kinda sloppy and some light through those tiny little cm areas reflects quite a bit! So if you want pure darkness, measure and cut perfectly. ;) I suggest the bigger role for normal bedroom windows- the smaller one I ordered first and had to cut it up, multiple sections to cover my whole window. The larger size works perfectly though. Easy stick on- just use a little water and stick it on! Brush out air bubbles with squeegee or credit card... done. :)

I purchased 6 rolls for a paid job. I had to cut around the edges to leave room for led light bars. Product was super easy to install and work with. Best instal advice I can give is to use a spray bottle with water and just a few drops of blue dawn dish soap. I shook it up and sprayed both the window and the cling itself. Soaked but not dripping. Immediately place on to window and slide in to place. Use a flat credit card (one without numbers so like an insurance card or key card for a hotel) and do small 6-8” sections at a time pulling the card upwards toward edges and use a microfiber rag to wipe of water droplets as you go. Once I found my rhythm I had these installed quickly. You must have a helper! This takes 2 people to install properly. Unless it’s a smaller window. As you can see from my pics it is a full display window. I have already purchased another 12 rolls to do another business because of the results of this job. 100% blackout with this product.

I sleep so well rigt now!

I wanted to get a film that will darken my room like it's in the middle of the night. This does it! A few times I have woken up in the middle of the night and I had no idea if it was night or day time. I sleep deeper and longer. If you have trouble sleeping try this, I can almost guarantee you'll have a fantastic nights rest!

Made with night workers in mind

I work overnights and must sleep during the day. This product was an affordable solution to completely darken my bedroom. I had vinyl miniblinds combined with dark curtains but they failed to block enough light especially in the window where the window air conditioner is located (because I had to keep the curtains open). This film was very easy to apply and is removable if I ever go back to day work. I used a window air conditioner insulation kit to block the light that was coming through those accordion things on the side of the a/c unit.

Followed instructions and was really easy to install. Really thick and sun blocking. Pretty satisfied with the outcome. It was a good aesthetic solution for my window.

Great for graveyard shift workers

This film absolutely blacks out all light. I installed it on a south facing window and a west facing window and the bedroom is now completely dark during the day. It is also a great insulator. I was able to install it on the windows by myself, I just needed a second person to help me peel off the protective backing. A couple of tips: use a sharp pointed knife tip (such as an Xacto knife) to separate the films at a corner; be sure to use some sort of liquid on the window to help with adjusting the film, I used a spray degreaser similar to 409 (most of the liquid will squeegee out when the film is smoothed, so be sure to have a rag handy); and use a flat plastic card to smooth the film such as a hotel room key or employee badge. Buying more to cover windows in a storage closet (who puts windows in a closet?!).
