Great scoop
Love this scoop, and use it (so far) for mounding cookie batter on the cookie sheet. It is high-quality stainless and works beautifully. Can't believe it took so many years of mounding cookies with two spoons before I purchased this. As always, excellent service by Amazon and it's seller.

A Nice Size
I purchased for us to have in our kitchen for cookie making. Friends have used scoops like this and their cookies always come out better than the "2 spoon" method. So I purchased one for my wife and I, and another for my Daughter and her husband. As a cookie scoop, I like this size but for more "normal" (loosely used) cookie size, I would go one size larger of a scoop. But that said, this 18/8 scoop does a great job! When the package was delivered my wife immediately washed it and went to town on cookies...needless to say her comment to me was, "Wow! why have we not had one of these long ago" the task of making cookies to enjoy was made fun again. The cookies come out plump and as they should, not flat, thin, and hard. I agree, why did we not have one of these long ago? The manufacturing and working of this scoop is premium! We think it will last us for a very long time. It is well built and we are extremely happy with how it works. No cheap parts that will break.

Love, Love, Love This Medium Size Cookie Scoop
My husband loves/insists on having his chocolate chip cookies in the classic round shape, not bar shape. It was so much more labor intensive and frankly I didn't look forward to baking them for him. Enter this new cookie batter scoop. Using it for the first time was like having the clouds separate for the sun to shine. I love making cookies with this scoop, seriously! If you don't already make cookies with this type of scoop, now is the time.

Excellent Product.
I bought 2 sizes of this scoop and they are of excellent design and manufacture. The gauge of the stainless steel is just heavy enough to feel and look sturdy and long lasting. The machining and assembly seem quite precise. I say well done to the designer and manufacturer. They got it just right. And because of that, the price is right as well. Came on time too.

Good Quality
I received my #16 scoop in April. It arrived in the original packaging. I was very happy with the quality and heftiness of the scoop. Squeezing the handles to release ice cream and cookie dough was smooth and effortless for me and I have arthritis in my hands. The gears glide smoothly and the spring is still in perfect condition and the blade still flush with the bottom of the scoop. It's made of stainless steel so it's dishwasher safe. I had mine soaking in the sink after making chocolate cookies. After washing, rinsing, and towel drying it still looks shiny and new. I do take good care of it and put it back in its packaging before placing it in the utensil drawer for protection. I plan on purchasing a couple more in smaller sizes for balling fruit and making meatballs. I'm happy with my purchase.

Perfect cupcakes
I purchased the number 16 and number 20 versions of this scoop. The number 16 was mentioned to be the best amount for cupcakes, but I found that it was too much and I couldn't fill the scoop full .With the #20 scoop, i could fill the scoop completely and make a perfectly sized cupcake that was easily and quickly repeatable. It's really made a difference in my cupcake game- I had been using an old style #16 scoop, but didn't realize that was the size I already had until I received the #16 of this and they were identical scoop sizes. You can make it work by filling it partially, but it's easier to get that consistency with the full scoop. I'd glad I ordered a #20 as well- it's been great. It cleans out the scoop fully and is easy to use. It's not as high quality as my really old one, but they just don't make things like they used to. I'd still really happy with this one, and since I make a ton of cupcakes, I'm excited to see how it holds up.

Very solid scoop. Worth the money!
Very well constructed. Solid scoop. Definitely worth the money. I used it to scoop cold cookie batter and it did the job nicely. Recommended!

I think it is the perfect size for cookies
I ordered 3 of these scoops to give as gifts. I initially ordered the number 50 size thinking it was the size I wanted. Then, when the order came I realized that I needed the number 40. I think it is the perfect size for cookies. I have one that I have used for many years. It's scooped hundreds of scoops of cookie dough and is as strong and works as well as it did when it was new. My order came very quickly and the seller communicated with me by email to make sure it arrived and that everything is okay.

Great!
It works great! I’ve only use it to scoop cookie dough so far and it’s very good. The dough comes off cleanly. It’s a bit bigger than I wanted though, 1 scoop made a huge cookie (much bigger than store bought cookie size).

High quality materials.
Like: (1) same price as Oxo scoop, (2) all stainless steel for easy cleanup and durability (Oxo grip is better for oily hands, but can get damaged more easily), (3) smooth gear operation and sufficient spring action. Dislike: as mentioned above, grip may become a bit slippery if hands are not washed of butter or oil. Oxo is reviewed more and is more readily available in brick and mortar stores, so is sold more. The Oxo has a spring that is a lot stiffer (which may be an advantage with stiff batters). The Oxo gear action, however, is nowhere near as smooth as this item’s action. Also, the welding on this item seems more robust and the metal is thicker. I chose this item over the also excellent Oxo because I prefer thick all stainless steel kitchen gadgets when possible and did not like the action on the Oxo. I would like to see a stiffer spring on this item, however.
