Awesome Dryer

Have not had this long but impressed so far. VERY large. Looking forward to being able to dry comforters. Most impressed with the delivery and setup. On time, professional and quick!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!

This thing is awesome I absolutely love it! There’s a little bit of a weird smell when the clothes are drying but other than that this is freaking amazing and I don’t have to lug hundreds of pounds of laundry to the laundromat anymore I am so pleased and it is actually the same size as any other large washer or dryer it is just everything I have ever wanted! I will never be able to afford to buy a home so I live in a beautiful 4 bedroom apartment but I still have to be able to take care of my children correctly and this really really is a lifesaver a timesaver and has revolutionized my lifestyle for the better! I love you KENMORE!

Heat is VERY hot - clothes are always wrinkled

This is an awesome unit. I love that I no longer have to remember to switch the laundry or rewash because it sat too long. It is ventless and there isnt any lint to clear. The unit is the size of a standard size front load washer so the extra space is super nice. CONS - The heat is very hot, clothes are always very wrinkled and the time to complete a load is lengthy. Overall - I can iron my clothes, I will never go back to two units.

Kenmore does NOT disappoint!!

My last dryer I went with a more expense LG model that matched the front loader with the clear door to see through, all digital, tons of settings and options and gotta say I HATED that dryer. It didn't dry a normal size load unless you set it on high for an hour and a half, after just a few yrs the drum in it cracked which I found out was a common problem with that model. I finally got fed up and shopped for a new dryer. After checking locally and the big box stores my husband recommended checking amazon. I had no idea they handled large appliances. I really wanted to find just a regular back to the basics clothes dryer without all the fancy crap that really doesn't do any good. I grew up with Kenmore appliances in the house and remembered the lasting many yrs with no repairs so when I saw this one I thought I'd try it. The price and size were good. It arrived quickly, delivery was free as well as removal of my old dryer so that was a big plus since other places wanted $60-$80 to do that. The delivery guys were great! Friendly and efficient and careful in my home loading and unloading. I've done about 10 loads in it so far, med, large and XL loads and I LOVE this dryer! Even an XL load is done in an hour or less. Its quiet, simple and efficient. I hope I have it for many years! Thanks Kenmore you didn't disappoint! I will be looking to replace my LG washer soon and will look here first!

Really nice dryer, so far.

Very nice. I've only had it a couple of weeks. This is the kind of purchase that needs commenting after a year or so of use. But so far, super easy to install (Amazon's Shipper installed for us) The dryer is super easy to figure out how to use. Not too many dials/buttons, options. I like the moisture control option where the dryer shuts off when it senses the moisture is out of the clothing. But, it might start up again after the buzz, if it senses there is still moisture in the clothing. But, it is doing its job. So, you have to let it complete the moisture cycle and wait a few minutes after the 1st buzzer on the moisture dry option. Large load capacity. Light on inside to see what you are doing. Front load, with door that swings down instead of to the side so that when you are pulling clothing out of the dryer, and a sock drops, the dryer door catches the clean dry item, instead of falling on the floor which occurred with my prior dryer that had the front load, swinging open to the right dryer door. No fancy electronic display for low tech people like me. No fancy electronic display to fail in the future:)

High efficiency, quiet, convenient and elegant!

The unit works great. I have been using it for about a month with about a load a week. I am an pro athlete so most of my clothes are athletic and sport. The unit washes great using HE Tide or Costco Pods. Using the sport gears mode each time. I was a bit disappointed that I couldn’t set the dryer to automatically start after the wash cycle. I do highly recommend HE dryer sheets. The dryer has been working extremely well so far. No issues with drying a week worth of clothes with towels and a set of Kong’s bed sheets. Overall I am extremely please. The dryer does get hot so i usually leave the clothes in there for and other 30-60min to cool down with the door open. The smell clean and dry clothes embalme my condo afterwards and I love it! Ha

Learn to Use it & You Will Love It!

I previously had a smaller w/d combo made by a different brand for 9 years. When I started into looking to replace my old one, I found this model and I am happy that I purchased it. I am a massage therapist, so this w/d combo is in my studio. I love the size(much bigger than my previous one), I like all the options and the ease of use. I wash sheets, small and large towels and my blankets in this machine and it washes AND drys perfectly. Initially with the first few washes, it has a newness smell, but it begins to diminish after continued use. If you have never used a washer and dryer combo, READ the Instructions! It takes longer, because it's not using conventional heat. If you put it on stay fresh, it will continue to rotate for about an hour so no wrinkles will set in. Again, I love this product. The delivery & setup was fast and proficient.

Great Experience Ordering and With Delivery and Installation, reserving right to comment on dryer performance. There is nothing more disruptive than a sudden loss of a clothes washer or dryer to a family's daily function. We were drying underwear all over the house before we quickly, but with much trepidation, decided to make this online purchase, the first appliance I have ever purchased online. We are so pleased with how successful this was, I may be finally convinced you can safely purchase absolutely everything online. This dryer was reviewed similarly on other sites, and Amazon's price in our area (I think different areas might have different prices) was the same as Sears itself. Despite a payment type glitch (used wrong cc at first), our original delivery date choice remained the same and it was delivered and installed within the first hour of the time window we chose.

Super happy with this Washer/Dryer Combo! If you read the directions, and follow them, it will work properly for you! If you are using it to wash and dry in one cycle, make sure to not overfill it! 1/2 to 2/3 of the washer capacity. Use the "Normal/Casual" wash setting and the "Normal" dry setting and your laundry will be clean and dry in about 3 hours. I just set it before I go to bed and wake up to clean dry clothes. Do not use the "More Dry" setting unless you want to burn your items. Here in Colorado, the moisture that is added to the house while drying is not a problem. Also, if you want to run a full load in the washer, don't choose the wash & dry in one cycle. Your clothes will not dry. If I have a full load to run, I run it on wash only (don't press the "Dry Level" button). When the wash is done, I remove and hang dry the heavier items like jeans, pants and shirts, and then run the dryer only cycle on the rest. To run the dryer only, power on the machine, do not touch the wash selector knob, press the "Dry Level" button for your desired drying mode, then press the "Spin Speed" button to select "No Spin" and it will only run the dryer. Another tip, if you can, lower the height of the standpipe that the washer drains into. If you can lower it to 10"-12" off the floor, the drying function will be much more efficient at pumping the condensed water out of the unit. If you cannot lower the standpipe, put the unit on a pedestal. Either buy one or build one that raises the height of the unit by 14"-15"
