Used in a HD application on pickup where installation was very challenging with screw threaded in bottom....recommend research the application first.

Great Antenna as an addtion to my boat

Quality made antenna. Easy to install, although I needed to use a longer screw because of the thickness of the deck of my boat. Antenna improved reception over the wire loop that was installed with stock radio. Contrary to other reviewers, I experienced no problem with reception nor did I need to "ground" the antenna to get good reception.

Works on our pontoon like a charm

Works on our pontoon like a charm!!! Pick up radio stations all around the lake, when before all we could get was a local station. Pandora is great when your phone is charged, but if you have no cell signal you are out of luck so this antenna helped very very much!

Nice antenna for my boat. Pivot feature is great.

Piece of cake installation, the mounting stud is pretty short, so watch out if you have a mounting surface that is thicker than 3/8 to 1/2 inch or so, you will run out of mounting thread. Mine was around 1/4 and did fine. The pivot feature is really nice, I adjusted it to have it raked back to follow my windshield angle on the boat. Has about 3-4 feet of cord, plugged right into the standard antenna jack on the back of my marine stereo head unit. Radio stations are crystal clear.

Works great with good reception. The only comment is that the bolt is pretty small and could be more beefy.

Fast shipping, great reception. A little to be desired on the installation. There are no directions, and amazingly enough nothing online to help. Just have to figure it out on your own. Hence the 3 star for easy to install.

Works great on a car!

I used this on my 2011 Toyota Corolla LE. This particular car like many others has the antenna in the rear window and I didn't like the radio reception with it. I installed this antenna on my car in under an hour and it works great with great reception. I used RTV around the gasket and plastic support piece at the bottom. I never trust gaskets alone. My only worry is that this was designed for a boat so I wonder how much it'll move on the highway as the antenna mast is very flexible. I'll update if I have any issues. Update - So this improved a lot of signals but also didn't help some. I bought a signal booster (AC-HT01) (Amazon ASIN - B07F71XXP5) and now I can pick up everything! My aftermarket stereo has a signal strength indicator and this antenna with the booster easily doubled almost every station signal when compared to the factory antenna!
