I liked everything about the product
I liked everything about the product. Everything from the price to the Quality was outstanding. I own a new Corvette and if you don't have the tires exact it lights up on the dash that they're either low or over-inflated and with that tire inflator you set it and forget it. It works perfect! Fills them right up to the entered number (30.5psi) for my car and shuts off automatically and was perfect every time.

Emergency flat tire help...
I was panicked when I went to my car the other night and had a flat tire. I had no idea how to change my tire, as my husband always takes care of stuff like that. Luckily a passerby had a small tire inflator, like this one, in his car. We inflated my tire and I was able to get home safely. The next day I got on Amazon and ordered this one. I immediately tested it and it worked great. It appears to be very well made and comes in a very nice bag that I tucked away in the back storage compartment. Hopefully I won’t have to use it any time soon, but if I have another flat tire, this time, I’ll be prepared...

Very simple to use, effective, user-friendly design
Very simple to use, effective, user-friendly design. If you follow the directions, the thing works. Reading some of the reviews, I don't think people are following the very simple directions. The pump should be in the OFF (O) position when you plug it in to your car power outlet. But know that the flashlight will illuminate. You want this, but you don't want to hear any noise. If you do, then it's on, and that's not good. Then, attach the tube to the tire. The display will then show the current air pressure (also note that they are four different units, so if you are using psi, make sure it's set to psi by pressing the R until you get to the right unit of measure. That's no mentioned in the directions). Next press the + or - buttons to get to your desired inflation. WAIT for the display to STOP BLINKING (this is not in the directions, and could be tripping people up). Then turn the switch ON (I). And let it do its thing. The machine will turn off when the desire air pressure is reached. Unhook the tube from the tire, and you're done.

Great product, great company.
The pressure displayed is about a pound lower then 2 other gauges I used to confirm it's readings with. This pump does fill quickly, and once accommodating for the discrepancy in the displayed pressure it does it's job. I inflate the tires on my car to 32, I set it to 33 and it stopped on it's own a few seconds after reaching the set pressure I am content with that. I bought this for my wife to make it easy to fill her tires in case she has an emergency on the road, she does not know how to do things like this and I thought it would make it easier for her. I had her use it and she seemed to get the hang of it quickly. I did contact Fortem directly after receiving it to let them know the issue about the pressure inaccuracy and they responded right away and sent a replacement. I wasn't initially going to give 5 starts but do to the awesome customer service I would definitely recommend this item.

Nice little air compressor
After years of procrastination and lazily driving to the gas station and paid for air, I've decided to finally go ahead and buy a pump. After a lot of research I decided on this one. Honestly, all the air compressors on Amazon will inflate a tire and get the job done. But what attracted me to this one was the size, the design, and that it had its own storage bag. The reviews were great so I also trusted that. After receiving my air compressor I tried it out on my tire. The operation was simple. It pumped and stopped by itself. One thing I noticed though, I set the PSI to 32, and after it arrived at 32, I wait it out for it to stop, and the display went down to 31.5. I unplugged the nozzle, checked my car's sensors and it showed 31. I might have to set it to 33 PSI in the future to get 32 PSI. I'm seriously not going to lose sleep over that at this price range. After I was done with everything, I stored it under my cargo area and out of sight.

This Fortem is Faster, Quieter, and has Better Features than my Wagan 3-IN-1.
This FORTEM is Faster, Quieter, and has Better Features than my Wagan 3-IN-1. I bought 2 of these FORTEM's; one is for my Corolla and the other is for my wife's Camry. We tested both Fortem's on the Camry tires. Each Fortem inflated 2 tires. So we inflated 4 tires in all. With the car running, we plugged in the Fortem into the car's 12V outlet. The FORTEM said the tire pressure was currently 36 psi. So we told the FORTEM (i.e. by pressing the + sign) to increase the tire pressure to 41 psi. NOTE! Once the tire pressure is set to the psi you want, you MUST wait until the display stops blinking before switching on the compressor switch. This detail is not in the directions. If you try to turn on the compressor switch while the display is still blinking, the compressor will not turn on. Once the display stopped blinking, we switched the FORTEM compressor switch on and watched the tire pressure increase by 0.5 psi until it reached 41 psi. Once the FORTEM display reached 41 psi, the compressor ran another few seconds and then turned off automatically. This process only took the FORTEM about one minute ; which surprised me because my Wagan would take at least 2 or 3 min for the exact same thing. The FORTEM was noticeably faster and quieter than my Wagan. In addition, the FORTEM has a digital display and auto shut off, but the Wagan does not have these. Also, the FORTEM digital display is a lot easier to read than the analog needle on my Wagan. So far, I am extremely happy with the FORTEM; it's far superior to the Wagan. At this time, I am unable to assess the longevity of this product; however, the excellent warranty and the responsive customer service in the reviews, convinced me this was the product to buy. If anything changes on this product, I'll update my review.

Works Well - Quiet and Compact
My old tire inflator was loud and vibrated like crazy, and liked to walk away on its own. I like this Fortem Digital Tire Inflator very much. Everything works as expected. Accurate - checked against 2 other digital pressure gauges. It is quiet and compact. Easy to read. Lit display. Easy to set desired pressure. Reach of power cable & hose might be an issue in large vehicles - Trucks/campers. Pros: Easy to use Accurate - Matched 2 other gauges. Auto-Shut Off - spot on! Fast - a minute or so to top off tires a few lbs. Quiet - Can carry on conversation while its running. Carry Case - protects device and prevents attachments from getting lost Compact - 8 x 6.5 x 3.3 inches Storage of wire and hose: wraps up easily. LED Flash light and Lighted display - can use at night. Cons: None for me. Note that the Fortem was able to reach the rear tires of my Toyota Sienna with a foot or so to spare. The Air hose is 18 inches, and the Power Cord is 10 ft.. If you're unsure measure from your car's power source (12v accessory socket) to the door and to the rear tire.

Great Little Compressor!
This is a "Day-1" review. Expect a followup review. Pros: -This pump is accurate. It was tested on two other compressors and all match. -Really easy to use, just remember to flip the switch back to "O" when the tire/item is done inflating. -The cord is long enough to reach the back tires of a full-size sedan (see pictures) and the light is really helpful. -When plugged in, the digital display reads out the current pressure and is easy to read. -The included bag holds everything nicely. -The valve clamp is very strong. Cons: -The digital display is not the same as the product picture, it's just a normal 7 segment clock display. -The entire case is a tough plastic, nothing metal or rubber padding on bottom -The price went up a lot Notes: A lot of these digital compressors on amazon are pretty much the same but I chose this one for the warranty and price.

I bought this just in time!
A friend of mine had something similar to this and helped me add air to a leaking tire. After seeing how easy it was, I ordered one - and I got it just in time! Unbeknownst to me, my tire had picked up a nail and kept losing pressure over a holiday weekend (I was out in the woods and nowhere near a tire shop!). This was so easy to use, even in the rain, and my tire was back up to pressure in no time! Just plug it in to the car, clip the hose onto the valve, set the pressure, and turn it on - it does everything for you and stops when the pressure is reached. This saved me from having to change a tire alone in the dark, in the rain, in the middle of nowhere and was worth every penny. I highly recommend this!

Worked Great!
I recently purchased this inflator to use on my new car. The vehicle has a low tire pressure warning light, and I wanted to have a way to quickly and easily maintain my tire pressure. The other day my warning light went on, and this past weekend I gout out my inflator and used it for the very first time. I will skip to the bottom line: It worked easily and quickly. I am glad that after much research I chose this particular inflator. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs something simple to use and reliable. More details: The instruction page was clear and got the job done, but there was a reference to screwing on the valve bit, when in fact there is a lever that once you press the valve comver on, you flip 90 degrees, and it locks it in place. No screwing needed. It took me longer to find what my tire pressure is supposed to be, and get the charging wire bundle out of the holder, and untie the bit that holds the long, long cord in a tight figure-8, and plug it in, than it did to use the thing! I read the page one time, and followed the instructions. Plug it in. Turn on the vehicle. Attach the air hose to the valve stem. Set the tire pressure. Turn it on. It is that simple. The unit was not nearly as noisy as I was expecting. It was not quiet, but it was not extremely loud either. I had measured all four tires ahead of time, and they came up as 30, 32, 32 and 32. The range for my tires took it up to 35. So I set the inflator to 34 when I attached it to each tire, and then turned it on. Took maybe 2 minutes for the first tire, and only one minute for the other three. The instructions say the unit should not be run continuously for more than 8 minutes. I probably ran my unit for a total of 5 minutes, in four quick sessions. I did not "cool the unit off" in between. I put the valve cover on, moved to the next tire, attached the air hose, set the air pressure to 34, and turned it on. Very happy with this unit. I like the storage case it comes with too. I have not used any of the extra nozzle attachments. If I had one complaint, it would be that when the unit is on, the built-in light comes on as well. Saves having a separate button to fiddle with to turn it on and off (and one less thing to break), but I kinda wished I could decide when to draw power. But I like having choices. I didn't knock a "star" off the review for that! Don't know how well this unit would inflate a giant inner tube for river rafting, or how long it would need to run to completely fill an empty tire. That 8-minutes max before it needs to cool down could be a limiting factor. But for roadside assistance uses, to quickly re-inflate an under-inflated tire, this was a breeze to use.
