  • STRONG CLAMPS: Clamp jaw designed for side and top post. Strong spring make the clamp hold up terminal well and no falling off
  • MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS: This booster cable is perfect for cars, motorcycles, trucks, vans and SUVs

Good quality jumper cables, I have these in my bag for my side by side just in case of battery trouble or if someone on the trail needs help. I would not purchase these to jump a car or truck as they are only 8 gauge but will work perfectly for my use. They do not take up much room which is why I purchase an 8 gauge set. I have not used these in cold weather but they seem flexible enough to work

These are real all copper wire booster cables. None of that copper coated aluminum. Because it is all copper the electricity flows easily, wires do not heat up, and dead truck started right up. The clamps are strong, so no falling off. Nice to have a bag, glasses (I am safety conscious), and gloves to keep your hands clean. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend that, if you want serious booster cables, you give these real consideration over the cheaper models that are available. I don't think that you will be disappointed.

Decent set of jumper cables for regular use. Having the extra length really came in handy when the car battery went dead in a crowded parking lot where the car we used to jump start the weak battery had to park behind the dead car and the batteries were on opposite sides of the engine bay. The cables reached the length of the car (a mid-sized SUV) plus the width of the engine compartments and the dead car started right up on the first crank. The included (flimsy) plastic carry bag ensures you can conveniently tidy up and store the cables after use. These cables already paid for themselves. Will buy again for any of our vehicles that don’t already have a jumper cable set.

Ignore that other review. This is a great set of 4 gauge copper jumper cables. (Don't worry about me cutting it up, I'm using mine for a slightly different application.) With the same tools and some simple math, we can conclude that this is legitimately a 4 gauge cable. - First off, these are 28 AWG strands, not 29. It makes a difference. - Second, you need to find the cross-sectional area. This is directly related to the amp capacity of the wire. You can use math, or look it up in a table. I get 0.08 mm^2. - Third, multiply by the number of strands. I counted about 245. It may not be perfect, but missing one or two doesn't change the result much. This is your total cross-sectional area. I get 19.6 mm^2. - Fourth, look up the area on a 4 AWG solid conductor. It's 21.1 mm^2. - Finally, conclude that this cable is close enough to a 4 AWG solid conductor to be considered a 4 AWG cable. Happy jumping! P.S. I never thought I'd ever have to review jumper cables in my life, but that other review...

I purchased the 12 foot long 4 gauge 100% copper jumper cables. Actual conductor is definitely 4 gauge. The parrot clamps are very high quality and the wire to copper jaw connection is done very well. The insulation is thick and quite flexible. For the price paid, this is easily one of the best jumper cable values to be found. By the way, I nerd things to death and looked at 50+ pairs of jumper cables before I decided on these.

Better clamps than what I expected didn't have any issues using with a side post battery. Love them and the carrying case.

The length on these is perfect for a front to back/ side by side. Purchased these to be able to jump my wife’s car side by side in the garage. They paid off this morning. Wish the carrying bag was cloth rather than plastic. Easier to work with in subzero temps.

Great buy if you're in need of jumper cables. Just wish it was a little easier to get these back into the bag.

Great product! A little on the heavy side, but guess that's due to the heavier gauge and quality of the product. The instructions attached to the cables make it easy to attach the vehicles in the proper sequence.

Used once to jump diesel engine. Only had them 4 days. Worked as expected. Seems to be of good quality, enough that I am ordering another set today.
