Fits Great

We have quail for eggs and meat. We need to keep track of the male/female and which hatch/how old they are, so we can keep the breeders and process the rest. As long as the quail are 8 weeks or older the bands stay on with no issues. On a few of the small age ones, they slipped off when the birds strengthen out their feet. Other than that no issues.

Love it, just not for quail.

This is a great product but not for quail. All but one of my males kicked their bands off. The band was still intact on the coop floor but the quail had managed to slide their feet through. On the other hand it was easy to put on, easy to remove, and very visible.

Great colors, perfect for Indian Ringnecks.

I used these babies to temporarily identify similarly colored Indian Ringnecks. They snap on easily and have been just the right size! I put them on at about 5 weeks old and all babies are still wearing theirs at 9 weeks except for one who kept biting at his. I took his off because it seemed to bother him, but his leg was fine underneath. Nice variety of bold colors, easy to use, perfect for for my needs!
