Great tool

I got this for a little DIY project and was a little worried that I wouldn't have enough strength to properly set the rivets. I was wrong this is such a handy device. It worked like a charm and was very easy to use.

Works great

Great tool to do aluminum rivets. Collects the tail in the little jar. Stores the additional fittings on the hat securely so you shouldn't lose them. Tool moves smoothly, grips securely, and doesn't require much effort. Well built chassis, doesn't have that "cheap" feel. Very happy.

Quality and Design!

The first riviter I bought didn't work (another brand). I was relived to find this product is on the top of it's game with a competitive price to less quality products. My only neutral comment is, that this tool has a shorter handles than some. For those with the necessary strength, this is not a problem, for others you might need to fashion handle extensions in particular when using steel rivets. Not a problem for me as this tool fits nicely in my tool box. GREAT TOOL!

Very easy to use and nice not to have my hand shocked each time a pop a rivet. Because of the handles it won't sneak into a tight spot, but if you have a lot of rivets, this is the tool of choice.

Great little rivet gun

Works very well. I just tried it on a fence to get a feel for it and it worked great. I will be using this on some leather work for saddles and tack. The handles are easy to grip and you have good leverage. With all the mandrels that come with it you have a wide selection of rivets.

Great rivet gun

Great rivet gun. Tons of leverage, even with the largest rivets that it'll fit. Mandrel catching container is helpful, and serves as a place to store the extra sizes when not in use. For larger rivets, the knurled pieces at the tip of the tool can be adjusted to keep the jaws slightly open to make inserting the rivets easier. Sizes of rivet body are a bit misleading as rivets with aluminum mandrels are larger than ones with steel mandrels. This kit will do mandrels of 0.063", 0.090", 0.108", 0.138", and 0.178". I bought this one because most of the ones available in the conventional style that you'll find at the local hardware store will only do mandrel sizes for rivets up to 1/4" body with steel mandrels; aluminum mandrels won't fit, even if they're 1/4" rivets!

Works Very Well

I bought and utilized this riveter the next day to install a license plate bracket on my car. It worked very well and the instructions made installation go very smoothly. I like that there are interchangeable heads for various sized rivets and that the adjustment is right on the tool. This replaces the single head riveter I presently have that was not the correct size for my install. I recommend this riveter.
