I have a pretty novel use case for these, but I think it demonstrates the flexibility and strength of these great risers. I have a nice travel tripod for my mirrorless camera, but when I want to use it at home to film myself on video while I'm standing, it's a bit too short. These 9" risers are PERFECT to add the extra height I needed to make the camera at eye-level. See the photos of it in use for my little aluminum MeFoto tripod. They only drawback for this weird use-case is that the risers obviously aren't at all portable and will never leave the house, but that's clearly my fault for going in such a weird direction. Despite their lack of portability, the nice ribbed inner structure makes them strong without too much weight. They are surprisingly light for the amount of weight the overall system is rated for, about 1300 lbs. My 5-pound camera and tripod setup is a sad joke when compared to a couch full of people . . . Note that I *do* realize they make taller tripods, but I don't want to carry a bigger one in the field and I also don't want to pay for an extra one since I already have the travel unit. I now have the best of both worlds with this simple thirteen-buck purchase!

My mom was having a hard time getting off her couch, as it is VERY low (and also old, so the cushions aren't as full as they used to be). I bought this set intending to use both pieces to raise it up really high. I installed both pieces on the first leg and laughed--it was REALLY high. She wouldn't even have been able to get on it. But the pieces are easy to fit together if that is what you need. I ended up using the larger pieces only, to raise it up about 4". She can get on and off the couch easily now! They seem very sturdy and it was nice to have the color choice--brown is way better with her couch than the black would have been. Very pleased.

These risers gave my daughter the extra storage in her dorm room. The bed is very stable!

I had my reservations because the negative reviews are what I usually read first but I decided to chance it. I ordered two sets of these bed risers, they were rated at 1300 lbs so that gave me plenty of leeway on weight capacity. I am glad I ordered two sets because it turned out I had two center feet to support along with the outer corners. I tried the 5" ones first but they were too high, the 4" adapters were a perfect fit. When I stand next to the bed it is just 24" off the floor and hits me just above the knees when I sit down. I have had them in use since February and they slide easily on my floor when I need to make the bed, without wobbling or slipping out of place. They are well constructed and give a good solid base that holds your bed at the right height for a comfortable night's sleep.

These worked great! They are sturdy and strong. I'm tall and most furniture is just too short for me. Added these to my couch and love seat and now it's a lot easier to sit down and get up. And they are more comfortable since I don't feel like my knee's are up in my chest. Great product!

I was sceptable but they work great. My problem is I wasn't imagining them smaller. My husband is 6' / 230lbs (I'm no light weight myself) and needed the lift for his back. I have two couches (three and two cushions) I'm using the 5" for the three cushion couch and 3" for the two seater. One person could do it but two are better (one lifting and the other place the riser under the foot). I bounced on and scooted my rear back and forth but they didn't budge. I was concerned there is no way the middle of the couch wouldn't cave in but several months later not even a squeak.

These are awesome! I lifted a guest bed to increase storage and although that bed has wheels on the frame, these holders make it very stable. They seem very sturdy so far and were the height I wanted. I really like that you have the option to increase it with the insert or have an extra set to raise something else. No scratching on the floor or other issues and this product works for my needs!

These risers are excellent for elevating a bet to provide better storage space beneath it. They are sturdy and they are stable with several height options. Installation is simple and they can be removed rapidly if they are no longer needed. I highly recommend these risers to anyone looking to leverage the space below their bed for storage.

I used both the tall and shorter ones together for a total height of 8.75". The bed frame is made of steel, king size and 12 " high by itself. So now I've got over 20" to store a ton of things under the bed. I keep checking them because they're holding up a lot of weight between the frame, box frames and mattress but all is solid.

The risers arrived on time and as described. We are using them for a family room sofa (5") and a reclining chair (3") since the combined height proved to be too high for the sofa, luckily for us as the recliner chair benefited from the shorter lift of the 3" risers. we have had them for a very short period of time so we will have to see if the durability is as suggested.
