Love my Yeti, and the color! It keeps my coffee hot all day, and my cold drinks super cold. I honestly had a hard time believing all the hype about these things, but I’m officially sold. They are worth every penny. There are several size options, but I love my big guy that can hold allllll my coffee. I hand wash it, and it cleans quite easily.

I use this to hold water all day. I'm a computer consultant so I'm in an out of my truck all day long and I live in Phoenix and this stays in the cupholder. During the summer the temperature in the truck can easily top 140 but I still have ice in this at the end of the day! This holds plenty of water and keeps it ice cold even in the most brutal of conditions. It fits easily in my cupholder and is easy to refill. I couldn't be more happy with my purchase!

This cup arrived today and I am loving it! I haven't used it yet but I inspected it and it looks like great quality. The mint color is to die for. The lid has a seal on it which is great and the opening has a slide closure that's study. I am excited to use it. I believe this is a genuine authentic Yeti cup. I bought the stainless steel drinking straws with cleaner to go with this cup. I will use it mainly at home for ice water by the bedside. Sometimes after dinner when I'm upstairs I get a little parched and having it right by the bed will be convenient... or even waking up in the morning and your throat is dry I can use it to sip on it. I am excited to try this. The 30 oz size is large enough. I would highly recommend purchasing this cup!!!

Goes with me everywhere and keeps my drinks warm or cool. I have also dropped it a bunch of times and it really holds up the abuse I put it through with my active lifestyle. The magnetic sliding mechanism is really easy to use with very little force so if you’re running and on the go it’s very simple to flip so you can enjoy a quick drink refresh and get going again. I think it does a better job at keeping things cool than keeping things hot (which makes sense because... physics) but it keeps coffee really hot for a long time, almost as long as a full metal thermos does with a ring-sealed metal cover. This is impressive because the top is a transparent polymer or plastic material of some sort so I didn’t expect the thermal response of the yeti to be on par with that of something like a premium thermos. I can put a few ice cubes in there and they won’t melt entirely for at least 24 hours. In 105 degree New England summer days, drinks stay super cool at the beach and the ice doesn’t melt!

Stop thinking about it and buy it! I had heard they are awesome and keep drinks cold for hours but I still hesitated on spending the money. Sooo worth it. I can put a couple ice cubes and some cold water in it in the morning and it’ll still have those 2 cubes and cold water late into the afternoon! Even while sitting in a hot car. I haven’t tried it for hot drinks yet but that’s not what I bought it for. It has helped me with my water intake tremendously because it’s so easy to drink fresh cold water all day, and 30oz at a time! Make sure you buy from the Yeti seller or amazon prime so you know you’re getting the real deal. It should come with a registration code.

It takes some impressive products to make me brand-loyal to something, and I'm now a life-long Yeti fan. My great-niece was extolling the virtues of her own 30 oz tumbler. Initially, I thought it was very bulky. I've got huge hands for a woman yet I found it awkward (more on that in a sec). I also have arthritis in my fingers and hands, and I've been using a plastic "insulated" water bottle, so the large metal tumbler seemed way too much. Boy, was I wrong! Yes, it's large, but the tapered bottom half makes it easy enough to grip. Plus, I often hold it via the bottom, resting on my palm, so the size issue has resolved. I realized I was too used to the lousy water bottle I'd been using (which didn't insulate at all). Oh yeah, I can rest it on my palm because it does NOT get hot on the outside. I pour my freshly brewed coffee in and it's room temperature on the outside and PIPING HOT when I sip it. On the other extreme, after I'm done with my coffee for the day, I put iced tea into it and the ice lasts for hours (I rinse it first in cold water). The first morning after I got it, I woke up and it still had ice; not just little pieces, but real cubes. It went the entire night sitting on my bedroom table and was still ice cold. Oh, man. No more watery tea I have to refresh every couple of hours. Now, on to the lid and mag slider. The lid is very solid, I think it's acetate. The entire lid can be thoroughly washed (unlike the lid to my previous water bottle, which would get grungey as heck). I wasn't sure why the sliding portion was called "mag" (maybe I didn't research it enough?) till I put my coffee spoon on it, to keep from staining the table. When I picked the lid up, the spoon stuck to it! That's when the "mag" feature hit me, lol. I realized the design helps prevent crud from building up along and inside it. It's not completely leakproof, but very close with cold beverages. I tested it once when I had coffee in it and it leaked more, but I think because of the heat and pressure build-up (that's how well it contains the warm). I now take it along with me everywhere. I don't drive, but I'm happy to know it'll fit in the cup holders of my family's cars. I use a little cart to shop with and it fits perfectly in the side pocket, doesn't leak at all, it's easy to remove while I'm out walking and want to take a sip occasionally. I brought it on the bus recently and again, it was easy to access, have a sip or two, and put it back without disturbing anyone. There, I think I've covered everything. If you're a senior with arthritis in your hand, you may want to consider the smaller mug with the handle (I almost got that one but wanted more ounces). You won't be disappointed! And one final positive: it's TARDIS blue! (my fellow Whovians will appreciate that.) (ADDENDUM: Shortly after I did this review, I started poking around other reviews and saw great concern about authentic vs. knock-off YETIs. Please be sure you purchase from YETI Authorized -- formerly Pronghorn, so you may see references to that name. I'm glad I got it right the first time.)

Finally invested in a YETI and it is AMAZING. I drink iced coffee daily, so it only made sense to invest in a good mug after several of my ZAK! mug lids broke (I did reach out to their customer service, and they are aware of a consistent problem with the sliders breaking, but they do not offer replacement lids and will not be changing the design) 🙁 So, enter my #YetiTumbler! It has a magnetic slide lid (GENIUS). You can feel the quality as soon as you hold it! I bought mine from the only authorized #Yeti dealer, “YETI Authorized/Pronghorn Outfitters” (they recently changed their name from Pronghorn to Yeti Authorized). No clue why I waited so long. It’s definitely worth the price and it lives up to all the hype it receives! The only con is that it is not leak proof.

I took it with me to Portland Oregon in August, where the temperature hit 95 two days running. I filled it with ice and water in the morning, around 11am, and left it in the car as we settled our daughter into an apartment, ran errands, and had meals out. On the hottest day, by 6pm, it was still 90 degrees outside, but there was still a little ice left. By 9:30pm, when we got back to our car after dinner and a trip to Powell's Bookstore, the ice was gone, but the water was still cold. I had refilled it several times, but never replaced the ice. I have dropped it on pavement twice, and it has a faint, superficial scratch. I bought a plastic handle for it (not made by Yeti), which fit nicely, though it was inconvenient in the car cupholder, as it took up both spaces. First world problems. Doesn't sweat. Only the plastic lid sweats, but the tumbler does not. Set it down on wood, it won't leave a ring. With the top closed, you can turn it upside down, and only a drop or two will escape. It fell off my suitcase onto a hardwood floor, and three drops splashed out. It's a freakin' marvel! I have not tried it with a hot beverage yet, but I expect it will perform just as well.

and I NOW have 5 in my house! They keep drinks Ice cold for hours/ days w ice! and cold w no ice! I even use them for cofee w fantastic HOT results! I need to drink ALOT water for kidney stones, and this is making my life a whole lot easier with this size and staying cold! we have Swell bottles for on the go, but this Yeti jumbo mug really works for me! and I just have been RAVING about it to everyone that will listen! lol! my entire family has them now as well. BEAUTIFUL colors! I WISH more places carried this light colors, like lt blue, pink ect...... but MY personal favoreite is the Navy and white ones.
