I didn't think it would be "cool" but I have not been waking up overheated. Added bonus the dog also likes to try and steal it.

Best blanket for monsoon season in the desert

I’m not sure that people are washing correctly when they get it because mine didn’t shrink at all. I filled my sink with cold water with detergent and fabric softener. I then took the blanket out of the package massaging it for a couple minutes in the shower to get it thoroughly wet. After that I put it in the sink and swished it around for like 5 minutes then rinsed it out in the shower again. Let it air dry on the shower rod and it was same size and soft. I live in as where triple digits are Normal for spring and summer and it’s amazing. We don’t have ac, we have swamp cooler so this is a life saver for monsoon season. People complaining don’t read instructions or are incompetent at every aspect of life, obviously.

I love this. I can't sleep without a blanket, no matter how hot it is. This is perfect for summer nights. It's like a sheet and a blanket got together and had a baby. The sizing information provided seems accurate, and the description clearly stated it would shrink when washed. I wish there were better colors, but it's so comfy that I don't really care

Don’t Second Guess - Try It!

I live in Florida and I am very hot bodied. All of my blankets are too warm for any longer than five minutes. I took the plunge on this product and very glad I did. The blanket is soft and keeps me both cool and warm where I can use it all night without getting the sweats. The fabric itself is soft and very comfortable and thin enough to let the fan air cool my outer layers. My only debate now is whether to get a second one so I don’t have to lug it around the house. Just buy it and toss the comforter aside.

In love with this blanket

So soft. Like a perfect silk/cotton hybrid. I wish all my sheets and blankets were made of this blanket’s material. I put it in the washing machine washing on a cold and delicate setting. It was still damp after a few hours of drying on my shower curtain rod so I put it in the dryer on low heat. I don’t think it shrunk very much if at all. Not really sure.

I am so happy with it

I was skeptical about a “cooling blanket” but it works!!! To me the word “blanket” can confuse people. I would add “light weight “ before blanket. I am so happy with it. I am very hot natured so I am always looking for something that cools. And this is it!!!

Just enough weight & cool

I cannot sleep without a blanket on, no matter what. I need the weighted feeling to fall asleep. Unfortunately, I also sleep really, really warm. This is perfect over a sheet. I think another review said this blanket is like if a blanket and a sheet had a baby-- it's a perfect description.

Cool like the other side of the pillow

It's soft, light weight (not like a sheet/still provides a little secure snug), and cool. Not cooling, but cool like the other side of the pillow. It does warm up after some use but I can't complain too much since you can just adjust it to a part that hasn't been on you. I love it, thinking about purchasing another for my boyfriend!

WOW! I love this. Ladies- If you are at that stage in life where hot flashes plague you; I encourage you to give this a try. I sleep with a fan blowing on me and on top of the covers. On again off again during the night the hot flashes come and go. Using the covers that are part of the regular bed make up are to much. This cool blanket does the trick for me. It allows me to cover myself, stay cool and not disrupt my husband with the frantic throwing off and putting on the covers.

I'm a fat guy and I always sleep pretty hot with normal blankets. I love this one, very light but not like a sheet. Feels cool to the touch. Plan on buying another as soon as my cats destroy the one I have.
