Great on tile

Perfect for our tile floors and shower. We don't get anywhere near the mold in the shower using this cleaner less frequently than we did with all the harsh sprays. Tile and grout on floors clean easily, including the occasional parrot droppings.

Lightweight Strength

So far I like it. Really cleaned my shower, that I've scrubbed and scrubbed by the way, and it looks brand new. I bought this because I have some medical issues that currently limit my strength and mopping, scrubbing and lots of bending, reaching...I now do not need to put forth the time and effort it took my to clean my house while being sick and for that I am extremely thankful! Will update review with more details as I use it and before and after pics.

We had ended up with a bedbug infestation when I moved into a new rental. I bought this, along with bedcovers for my mattresses and box springs and rubbing alcohol. I steamed everything with this--the beds, the crack between carpet and walls, the walls, the carpets, EVERYTHING... and then sprayed it all down with the rubbing alcohol, put the covers on and haven't seen a bug yet--and that was 3 months AFTER we paid $1,400 to a professional exterminator who failed to get it done. And now I use it for routine and deep cleaning. Works great to get built up grease off your stove's backsplash, etc. Tomato sauce bubbled up and plopped some on the walls, counters, etc? Steam it away! Pop the head in the washer and clean again. No ongoing costs. Workhorse machine. Love it and well worth the price!

I love this mop!

I had used a Clorox Clean-up and a Swiffer mop over the years. This is a huge upgrade! It uses just distilled water, as opposed to harsh (and expensive) cleaning solutions. It heats up quickly so it's ready to use almost immediately after plugging it in, and the floors dry quickly after steam-mopping. As others have said, you do have to hold down the steam button during operation, but this isn't generally a big deal, unless you using it for an extended period of time. I love most of the attachments, and the two mop covers. The only attachment I'm not pleased with is the grout cleaner. It does a wonderful job, but the bristles bend and collapse into something almost unusable after the first use. I'd appreciate an easy way to order replacements for just that tool - not the whole set - as it's almost a disposable tool if you can only use it once. I have a LOT of tile in my house, and I'd probably buy replacements frequently.

Works super well on both dark hard wood floors and tile floors!! Easy to use

This steam mop is amazing! I had a Haan before which I loved but it broke, and wow they have come a long way. The fact that it can come apart so easily for cleaning grout or your bathroom tiles, or floor boards- is amazing. The padded pet cleans grout as well but this is amazing and a must have if you have tile floors and hard wood! We had our hard wood floors refinished with a 30% Jacobean and 70% espresso and this mop works fantastic on the low setting. Do not use the high setting on hard wood as it leaves “wet marks” we quickly figured out the low setting is perfect. High is for the hand held use of steam cleaning and grout cleaning. So Amazing I’ve taken videos to send to family to get lol. My husband loves mopping with this too!

No Chemicals! Child and Animal Safe! Cleans EVERYWHERE!

I went back and bought another one for my mom! Steam clothes, linens, clean shower, wash walls, baseboards, stove, and ovens! I steam mop my rugs and puppy's bed, EVERYTHING! I love this thing! No chemicals, kid and puppy safe! :) I am not a paid representative, I am just VERY happy with this product.

Dirty grout? Not any more!!

QUICK SUMMARY: I got this for one reason: dirty grout lines. This did a good job of quickly cleaning them. BACKGROUND: Although this is a very versatile tool, I selected this item just so I could see if it could quickly clean up the dirty grout lines in our house. Our grout lines are 1/4" wide and so far, the only effective way I have been able to clean them is using a toothbrush and a cleaning solution in a spray bottle. I was very pleased at how well this Bissell worked using the grout bristle brush attachment. It was much faster than using a toothbrush, maybe 3x or 4x faster. I got through more than one-half of a 600 square foot area completed before I had to stop because the bristle brush attachment had worn down to the point I couldn't use it anymore. My grout was really, really dirty, so I had to spend extra time going back and forth over the grout lines to get them really clean. The Bissell was easy to hold and use. Sometimes, though, the steaming action seemed to get interrupted for some reason. I would just raise the unit up for a moment, then lower it back down again and that seemed to restore the steam action. The grout bristle brush worked well, although the bristles tended to bend in one direction pretty quickly after using it. I guess that's not surprising because a few millimeters away hot steam is gushing out of the brush's steam port. I couldn't buy replacement grout brushes here on Amazon, but it was easy to do on the Bissell website. Three dollars per brush, plus shipping for about another three bucks. I bought three replacement brushes and the total cost was $16, including shipping. I really dislike cleaning grout, but it's one of those things that just has to be done. This Bissell made the job pretty easy and quick to do. The fact that it has so many other purposes makes it a great value overall. And the appearance of my ceramic tile has been dramatically improved in a fairly short amount of time. CONCLUSION: If you have dirty grout, this is a versatile tool that will speedily clean your grout and a whole lot more besides. Recommended!

This item surprised me!

I really like this steam mop! I first used it on my tile countertops with the flat attachment but the unit is a little too heavy to use the tile brush. It worked great on my laminate flooring and I even tested to see how well it worked on my bathroom mats. I was amazed how well it cleaned my bathroom mats, my mom uses a rollator walker and the wheels go across my lavender bathroom mats. The mats dried fast after using lots of water on it. You will have to put some elbow grease while using this but overall I'm satisfied!
