These pans are a perfect size for baking gift breads or cakes or candy as gifts. Would be good fudge pans. The price was great, too. Love the plastic lids -- not too high (like domes) but high enough to allow baked goods a slight rise.

Great for bake sale

These were perfect for the bake sale items I made—large squares of rice krispies and chocolate cake. They will also be great for make ahead individual meals for the freezer.

Terrific small containers

These are terrific small aluminum pans with fitting plastic covers. Although generally not recommended, I use these in the microwave oven with the covers on loosely and have not seen any ill effects. The aluminum pan alone works very well in the conventional oven and is the perfect size for two generous portions of foods like lasagna. They are really handy and yet inexpensive.

Love this product. Use to purchase this product in my neighbourhood stores, but its availability was only to be found here @ Amazon.Com. The price point is ok. While this product is excellent for storage of food, it is also excellent for the burning of stick incense as it contains and lessens the browning of ceilings and things around it as it is burning. Of course, never leave stick burning incense unattended BUT it provides the necessary protection needed to protect ceilings, fabrics from browning from the smoke emitted from burning stick incense.

great for leftovers to send home with the kids which ...

these pans are just the right size for 2 people when I want to cook some veggies on the grill with the meat, great for leftovers to send home with the kids which we always have and great for reheating my lunch at work. I cannot find this size pan in our stores locally and the larger pans are just to large. the plastic covers are nice and fit well and the price is great. love'em.

I loved these pans. I used them for Christmas treats and they were sturdy and sealed close really nicely. Really spacious. I might keep buying them for when we take dinner to friends, etc.

Good Value

Aluminum containers 2lb perfect for bake sales, fits about 6 cupcakes and can make small cakes in them. I also use for empanadas and cake fit about 7 to 8 in here because of the raised lid. I love that it comes with the raised lids because I can fit more inside of them. I received them in very good condition except for two plastic lids were cracked, but I would just use aluminum foil to close the extra containers. I will be buying more soon.

So, uh...check the size before you order.

So I'm not downrating this because the mistake on this product was my fault, but just make sure you pay attention to the size (which is stated in the product info but easy to gloss over when there's a lot of info in that title). I went by the picture thinking I could use these to carry large salads, and it's barely even large enough for a side salad. Not checking the dimensions was my mistake, but just leaving a little warning here for anyone else so they don't repeat my oversight.

I like these a lot

I like these a lot. When I first saw them they seemed smaller than I was anticipating. Once I opened them and used one I realized they are the perfect size. They are sturdy and compact making storage easy. My husband cooks a lot and we like to share with friends. They are great for putting left overs in for friends to take home. I don't have to worry about getting the container back.
