-Cord is 8 feet, plenty long for me. Anything over 7 is acceptable. It's not wireless, keep that in mind. You don't want a wireless controller for your pc anyway, but for gaming on an xbone I can understand why you'd want a wireless controller. (Microsoft still can't get their wireless controllers to work well on their own pc OS. So just avoid that dream for now unless you're tech savvy. It's literally plug and play on PC. Steam works immediately with it.) - Buttons work great. If yours doesn't, send it back and order a new one. I guarantee it's just bad luck. The packaging is too nice for me to assume the company cares about quality, and mine came in mint condition. As for the analog sticks, they work perfectly. No deadzone, no areas of non responsiveness, not too large and not too small (although that's preference.) Tip: If your rubber starts to peel off, (mine has not) there are rubber covers you can buy for all your controllers! I'd recommend looking into those instead of getting an all new controller. I used them on my old xbox 360 sticks and they worked great. I literally just tried them on this controller and they also fit perfectly, which means if my rubber does wear off, meh, no big deal! Just fit them over these ones and they work just as great. -Fits well in my hands. Feels similar to the slim xbox 360 controllers I loved. The official xbone controllers are a bit bigger I believe. I prefer the size, honestly. But I'm just used to smaller controllers so it's more of a personal thing that I enjoy. - Plastic isn't that cheap, but you can tell its probably not going to survive long if you smash it a few dozen times. If you're a rager, take it out on something else. This controller probably won't survive your hate inspired rage from dying in dark souls.... But then again, it's only 17 bucks. You could buy almost three of them for the price of one official xbone controller. Which makes it a more economical device to rage on if you think about it.... :) Favorite part? My old 360 controllers which i used for PC gameplay exclusively would have the wires go bad.... It's hard to prevent wires bending naturally just from gravity. Sadly, this meant the entire controller was doomed unless i invested in repairing the wire (hardly economical. Not worth my time and not worth the money.) But this wire is removable, so you can just buy a new cord from gamestop for 7-9 bucks depending. So as long as you keep the controller itself running, feel free to treat the wire however you wish, since you can replace it easily. The wire isn't really that flimsy either. I saw some people claim it was, which scared me away from this (and I ultimately bought awful controllers off Amazon instead, before taking a stab at this one.) I don't know what sort of wires they're used to. These seem solid enough. If you want more strength, use the inside of a ball pen to strengthen it, or cover it in tape. There are ways to strengthen wire bends if you ever get one. But since you can detatch the wire from the controller, safe storage should be easier and ultimately preserve your wire longer. But again, the wires seem fine. Those reviews are some serious fake news ;) Highly recommended. After buying many other controllers and returning them, this one I won't be returning. And if it breaks I'll gladly buy it again. Why spend 50+ bucks when you can spend 19 including tax? Plus the color is really cool :) feels great to game with it. If my review leads you to purchase this controller, I hope yours comes in the same beautiful condition that mine did. I'm not easy to please either, I've returned two controllers in the last month. This one impressed me. Best to you all.

My kids go through a lot of xbox controllers and this one so far is meeting their needs and seems to be sturdy and well constructed. Two teenagers give it a thumbs up. Thank you

The only downside was that the default amount of rumble was a little intense for me, but if you download the PDP app on your Xbox, you can adjust rumble, adjust dead-zone for sticks and triggers, swap buttons, etc. Otherwise, controller feels comfortable and well-built, buttons and sticks feel very "clicky" with no rattling or stickiness. The usb cable fits very snug into the top of the controller, so it won't unplug accidentally. The built-in audio mixer is the real selling point for me, and it works quite well.

This is my third controller bought from PDP. And they don't stay behind the genuines. I had an afterglow before, and this seems more solid, more robust. One thing that is great is the 3.5mm, so basically you can use any headphone there. Plus the command in the dpad that you can change the volume, change the volume of the game or the chat. So again, with any phone plugged in your controller you will have full control of the volume.

Its excellent in quality and look. Performance is also very prompt. Ut has a glazy look which makes it awesome. Vibrations are amazing as well. Price is 24.99. Highly recommend.

So far this controller has been amazing. I’ve had it about 2 months and it’s my go to Xbox controller! I don’t play it super often, so I’m not sure about longevity. It feels just as good, if not better, than the controllers Microsoft makes and it’s a great price! It being wired hasn’t bothered me at all and the part that plugs into the controller is very solid and sturdy. You shouldn’t have problems of it coming out. The headphone jack is nice, but basic. The mic is always on if you use headphones with a mic.

Ordered this controller some time ago and have been using it ever since. The wireless controller that came with the Xbox One S would disconnect itself and take way too long to reconnect. It also decided to start "drifting" all the time. It seems to be an issue with the wireless controllers. This wired controller was the replacement. It was much cheaper than a wireless controller so I figured it might get me through until I find a decent wireless. The wired controller hasn't let me down yet. I LOVE this one! There have been no disconnection issues, no drifting issues, and while I would prefer a couple extra feet in cord length, the cord isn't really an issue either. The light on the controller is also much less annoying! It has a small light that is easily "hidden" by normal tilt. The light on the wireless one could only be hidden by playing under a blanket!! I need to order another since I do not plan to ever go back to the wireless controllers for Xbox One.

Imagine you made the switch to PC gaming 2 years ago. Before that you were a hard-core Xbox and Playstation gamer. Had the best controllers. Then the virus comes. You reach for your trusty Playstation controller. Dead and won't take a charge. Your 4 Xbox elite controllers can't even make one functional controller. No problem I'll jump on Amazon and get one in a day or 2. Holy cow batman nothing wireless is available. Who in the world wants wires....wait a minute...everything I have thats wired is still working. Let's look up this company I have never heard of. Yup bad reviews and a few good ones. Well it's cheap and I need one let's do it. Fast forward a week. I get some time and plug this red beauty it. She purrs and glows a beautiful red. Well it turns on I guess. Here's the truth. It's a bit rough but I squeeze and push the joysticks to theimit when I play so nothing usually lasts. I doubt this will. So far everything is still in tack and responsive. For the price I'll probably get another if and when this one breaks if I can't just fix it.

Pros: Feels great in my hands. Doesn't feel cheap or fragile like other 3rd party controllers. The usb that plugs it into the computer (or console) is very sturdy at the contact point. There's a plastic thinger around it so it doesn't wiggle loose and break. Excellent design choice. Cable itself is sturdy and has enough reach to not be an issue. Also, it can work with Windows 7 (with some workarounds). Cons: It is not plug and play on Windows 7, and there isn't a version of the calibration app for it on Win 7. The vibration is also a biiiiiit strong for my liking, which can be a bit obtrusive during parts of Destiny 2 when area effects cause the controller to constantly buzz like a marital aid. This might not be a problem on Win 10 and xbone with the PDP calibration app, but without it on 7, it takes some getting used to. I'm not docking it a star for this since it's not intended for use with legacy operating systems. How to get it to work on Win 7: If you haven't already, go get the official xbox controller drivers off of Microsoft's site and install them. Plug the controller in and once it fails to find a driver, you can manually go to Device Manager and find it under Other devices (should have the yellow ! icon). Right click, select Update Driver Software, choose to browse computer (second option), then choose Let me pick from a list and choose Microsoft Xbox One Controller.

The controller works just fine. For those having trouble getting the device to work out the box, my suggestion is to plug it into your computer first and see if the device is recognized. Once you see the light on the controller has turned on (which it will) you are good to go. Plug into your Xbox and play your little heart out. The price alone should have everyone satisfied. The comfortability of device in hand is good. The feeling is a TINY bit different as this controller is a little smaller. The wire is 8 feet so you get more enough chord if you don't like to sit near your TV or monitor. All in all great bargain for the buck and super fast delivery!
