Mounts Work Well For Arlo Pro 2 Cameras

These mounts are sturdy enough to securely hold the camera at the angle you desire. I was a little worried about the low price, but after receiving and installing them, they seemed to work very well and they look well made. Some customers mentioned the black paint flaking off during the mounting process, but I didn't experience this at all. The paint on the mounts reminded me of powder coating and it had a slight texture to it. I am pleased with how they turned out. They are all 3 mounted outdoors under the house eve. We'll have to wait and see how they hold up outside.

Better Than Arlo's Mounts

The mounting devices supplied by Arlo for their security camera start up kits are somewhat inadequate for the expensive weighted cameras. This product is outstanding and far superior than the Arlo ones. The mounts are adjustable, solid, and can be attached to a wall, interior, or exterior, with three screws. The camera angle can be adjusted easily.

I think I'll use a better screw supplied

Product has not been installed yet, looks very durable, however, I think I'll use a better screw supplied. This looks thin, but may hold, however, I would like a "thicker" screw. Product will hold my Arlo camera very well. Thanks I have an update now that the mount is installed. When I turn the camera Upside Down, there isn't enough room to turn the locking device on the mount. It works great when installed with camera on top, but when it is upside down, I have trouble putting the camera on another angle. Maybe down have "tabs" to lock, just turn the round part. Just a suggestion or make the threads longer. I have an overhang on my roof, that's when I had to put it upside down. Great Product

Worth the money

Used for the Arlo Pro cameras. Perfect as we bought the three pack cameras. Threading is good. Tightening mechanism for the goose neck is poorly constructed. You have to turn it properly and it is very difficult to do once you mount the product. Very tricky and time consuming. The screws that come with this are trash. DO NOT USE THEM. We used 1 inch dry walls screws and it is holding great. Nice powder coat, yet we haven’t seen winter yet.

Great tool, easy to mount!

It would be helpful if there were a metal loop added to the support back by the mount. Looking for a way to attach security cable to the mount. I see the "wrap brackets" with the chain that are available, but I think it would be more secure to actually have the cable connected to the mount itself. I have drilled a small hole through the pole close to the mount and fed the cable through that. The supports are metal and appear sturdy and they have been great!

Perfect for Oculus Rift Sensors

I bought these to mount the sensors for my Oculus Rift. I have a 4-sensor setup, 2 on the walls and 2 on the ceiling, and these did the job perfectly. They are very adjustable and hold the sensors just right and snug; very easy to position them just how I want. Also really nice is that because the bottom of the base is open, not solid, it makes it MUCH easier to mount these on a popcorn ceiling. One helpful tip: before you mount these, screw & unscrew them 1 or 2 dozen times. It'll help smooth out the threading a bit and make them easier to adjust once you have them up.

Fits the Arlo Pro 2 perfectly by itself, just replace the tightening wheel with a simple 1/4 inch nut if using USB power cord.

These wall mounts are an excellent value at three for $12, and do hold the Arlo Pro 2 Cameras very securely. You can use them wireless right out of the box , as well as with a USB Power cord. The only difficulty you may encounter with these 3-packs is that the Take-UP Wheel to tighten it extra secure is too wide for using it with a power cord. That has nothing to do with the mounts, it is because ARLO placed the screw base very close to the power receptacle (see photo). You would run into that with any other third party base. ARLO's base resolved this by using a small threaded tightener (see photo). Many people simply removed the tightening wheel and first screwed the camera all the way in, then did the final adjustment with the main tightening ears, but I simply removed the Take-Up Wheel and replaced it with a simple 20 cent stainless steel 1/4 inch coarse thread #20, which is the thread of the Arlo unit (not fine thread). I have attached photos of the Mount with its WHEEL, a photo of the tightening wheel and my replacement nut, and a pic of the factory ARLO mount with its thin tightening nut. For me it was no problem at all buying a simple nut so I could attach a USB Cable, but for some people that might be a bit of a hassle. It would be GREAT if a thin threaded tightening nut could be included in these packages. I plan to buy 3 more so I have additional security points around the home.

Good Quality Mount for a Bargain Price

These are good-quality, perfect fit security mounts for the Arlo Pro camera. The mounts come with mounting screws, including hollow wall anchors if needed, and are super simple to install. There is one threaded ring that tightens down the horizontal and vertical adjustments for a simple, 360 degree adjustment. If there is any defect, it is that the painted white finish is fairly shallow, and tightening the ring can cause the paint to chip on the body of the mount. This is a very minor flaw, as the mount itself is sturdy and well made. I installed 3 of these and each one was a perfect fit (the mount screws into the camera body), and the supplied screws were good quality. A caution would be not to tighten the screws too tightly as the mount might crack at the screw hole. Not really a defect, just not made to hold much weight so it is fairly thin. Overall, a great buy at this price, and highly recommended

Nice mounts

I ordered a three pack of these for my Arlo 2 cameras which are mounted on the outside of my house. They allow more flexibility with camera positioning than the stock mounts - they're longer so the camera extends further away from the side of the house. I needed this since some of my cameras are pointed at doors and the cameras basically need to point back at the side of the house where the doors are - if using the stock mounts the cameras would be too close to the house and the siding would obstruct some of the view. These seems to be well made and mounting them was easy.

Mounts work perfectly with Arlo 2 cameras

I used these to mount my Arlo 2 cameras outside of my home. The mounts we're slightly shorter than the mount provided with the cameras, but I didn't find it to be an issue at all. The mounts are made out of a different material than the original Arlo mounts. They appear to be a coated metal. They are a lighter weight than the original mounts also. Overall, they serve their purpose, and they are much cheaper than buying the OEM mounts.
