Added a table to my rv. Worked great.

Installed it under butcher block as a pop up breakfast table. Works well.

I used these to mount a shelf on the front of my Green Mountain Grill Daniel Boone smoker. They were easy to install, lock in very sturdy and fold easily. Very happy with the end results!

My plan was to make foldable desks for my children to save space in their bedrooms so I purchased 3 different brands (2 from Amazon and 1 from Home Depot). This one was by far the best constructed, sturdiest, and easiest to fold. It is definitely made to have at least a 1x piece of wood underneath as the trigger will not allow it to fold flat if installed directly on to the wall. I would imagine you should attach the bracket to the stud as this is a no brainer. I used a 2v4 and screwed those into the studs as the wall studs were not in the location I needed them to be. I then screwed the brackets into the 2x4. Great product as both sets I purchased were the exact same. I will be purchasing more to build a foldable table for my laundry room!

Exactly what I needed to put a collapsible shelf under my window. Easy to operate. The black color looks nice with the natural wood too. I'd buy it again.

Perfect for an extra bit of counter space in my tiny RV kitchen. As you know RV walls and cabinet covers are thin, we had to beef up the fake cabinet wall with some supports on the backside. Brackets fold down for easy travel. I highly recommend.

The bad... The two screws on the inner-most parts of the brackets are hard to access. The good... Solid. Stable. Square. I'm using it to support a table saw outfeed table, which is a 60" x 24" piece of 3/4" oak plywood (so yeah, heavy) reinforced with a couple of 2x4s, plus a release mechanism. The extension isn't even a little out of square at the end. I even, very foolishly, ripped a 4' x 8' sheet of 3/4" MDF on it and the table nearly tipped over. The brackets didn't buckle at all. Good hardware.

We added a 'leaf' to my kitchen island (which is a really cool, old piece of furniture like a dresser that we converted into kitchen storage and prep area). We wanted to have the option to pull up bar stools when the grand kids were over or whnever we needed a larger space. These are great!!

Great brackets! Couldn't get the table to lay flat against the wall when lowered. Realized the bracket was not completely aligned.

Easy to mount and seem very strong after mounted. Great for adding counter top in RVs.
