Great trickle charger for reasonable price

I don't drive one of my cars very often and my battery started to give me trouble holding a charge (using regular charger). I received my order in very timely manner. I connected it up to my 12 VDC car battery (with ground disconnected) and it showed below half discharged battery (blinking 50% LED). It charged in couple of hours to over 50 % (after which 100% LED started to blink) and then after about 20 hours (as specified in user manual) completed the 100 % charge (both 50% & 100 % LEDs lit up continuously). I left the charger connected to keep the battery at prime charge level until I need to drive the car. The charger heated slightly during the initial charging period, as more current was drawn. After charge was completed, the charger remains cool while it the keeps optimum level charging in progress. I find this product very useful at a nice price.

Great little charger!

Does the job and does it well, the indicator lights are a great feature. I bought mine to charge a 6v 4.5 amp battery for an Omnibot. Works great.

Perfect for what it is: Trickle charger for battery upkeep, occasional slow full charging

This is a small unit, about the size of your palm. It is really meant for maintaining the charge on a battery that sits unused over time (draining all the way down is very bad for lead acid batteries). The unit has a logic circuit that first detects whether your battery is significantly depleted and needs to actually be charged, or if it has a sufficient charge but just needs to be maintained. Once it fills the battery, it switches over to the maintenance function. It has selections for 12v or 6 v, with 12v being the default. Note that due to the logic circuit this cannot be used to set up an electrolysis tank; it will not detect the battery and will not activate. The quality is good overall. I'm using it on my boat batteries and on a car I don't currently drive.

Great Automatic Charger, will charge both 6v and 12v batteries.

I bought this chager to chare my feeder batteries. Wasn't expecting it to be this good of quality. This charger does great charging the 6v 6ah SLA batteries that I have for my feeders. It has easy to read buttons in the front with lights that show what's Going on "charging %50 or less, Charging %50 or higher, and Charging %100, then it also has one showing fullY charged and it's on trickle charge.' This charger will not harm your battery if left on it for to long "say over night." It also charges a battery fairly quick for what it is. It can also charge a 12v battery as well "say for a motorcycle or mower." I am sure it could also maintain a car battery as well. It also has all the needed wires to connect it to your smallet batteries or your motorcycle, mower or car batteries. Very simple to set up "chose between 6v or 12v and it does the rest. For around $20 you can't ask for better in my opinion. Thank you for a great product.

double the usual amperage

This has double the amps as the battery tender jr, good for larger motorcycle batteries, I even use it on my truck and jeep, I have a bike that has a rather large draw due to a lot of added accessories, this kept up with it while the batt tender could not. also has 6v

It does what it says and is reasonably priced!

We have used this for the last six month and found it to be very simple and yet effective at maintaining our scooter and motorcycle batteries without over changing. The kit is complete and offers a way for you to attach a cord to your battery permanently so that eases connection. The simple lights on the plug in tell you what it is doing, (Charging, condition of battery, not charging). I have great confidence in this after monitoring my motorcycle and finding it always ready to crank after sitting for the winter season.

Great charger, first failed but great customer support.

We use this charger to charge our kid's power wheels, and it works great. We throw this charger on after they've ridden, and the next morning they are ready to go again. Ours totally died after a couple months of use, and our seller (Shenzhen Leicester Tech) replaced it with zero effort on our prat. Very much appreciated the good customer service. Assuming that first one going bad was a fluke, so giving 5-stars. If this one also fails, I'll come back and edit the review.

Works with larger power wheel batteries .

Works perfectly just as described. I use it to charge the 22 amp motorcycle battery that I have in my little girls jeep power wheel. Works fully automatically, I don’t have to disconnect it when it is done charging it automatically goes to a trickle charge and it stays connected until my little girl uses it again.

Ideal for maintaining lead acid batteries

I bought two of these and may by more. I use them to maintain the batteries on seldom used vehicles. There is a slight variation between units when tested on the same battery. One maintains the battery at 13.59V while the other at 13.68. However these are within recommended values so overall I am very pleased! The charge current is pulsed at about 5 HZ which is better than constant trickle

Simple and effective

Easy to hook up and use. I thought I might need a new battery, but no, just a few hours of this charger and winter was put away! Simple to use and worked well. Recommend this for charging, recharging, or as a method to maintain your batteries. Works on either 6 or 12 volt batteries
