The hose on my LG window AC unit tore. I tried to use duct tape to secure it, but it didn't work to the same level as it used to. After researching, I found this product online, and it was the exact fit to replace the old hose.

Excellent Portable AC Exhaust Hose Replacement

I bought this to replace the exhaust hose for my LG LP0814WNR portable AC because the original hose had torn and was a taped up mess. I'm very impressed. The quality of this product seems to be just a good, if not better, than the original. It fits perfectly, attaching very securely. The only thing I suggest is making sure it is the right size for your AC (diameter) and that it threads in the right direction (clockwise/counter-clockwise). Otherwise, I can't think of any potential issues. It's a good product.

Better than original equipment

This was a replacement exhaust hose on a portable room air conditioner. After 3 years the original was shot. This one is better and heavier than the original from Frigidaire. I expect it to last better.

Fits my LG LP1215GXR

The stock hose that came with my LG unit started to crack after a few years, bought this as a replacement. Installs easily (extend the ends of the hose, thread it into end connectors). I'll update this with longevity if it ever fails.

added as a extension

screwed right into the other hose. so i can, move the a/c unit into the kitchen farther, and out of the way.

$70 hose, no thank you, ill buy second hand.

So like most people here, i saw that to replace an old hose on my Fridgaire it would cost me over $ 70 , which I thought for a expandable piece of hose was stupid. This was the answer to my problems, and for less than half the cost. If you are sure about the diameter of your exhaust, this will suit you well.
