Bacon Breadcrumbs
Works just like breadcrumbs used to. The best option is to use a pure egg wash on chicken with the panko to keep the carbs to a minimum. Wish it came in bigger bags though!

Excellent breadcrumb or panko alternative!
Excellent breadcrumb or panko alternative! I’m on a low-carb Keto diet, and I’ve really been missing fried chicken. Not any more! Coat some chicken with egg, then dip it into a bed of pork panko (and whatever other seasonings you like) and deep fry or skillet fry. ZERO CARBS! When I’m looking for something a little healthier, I sprinkle this on a salad. This adds a nice crunch, and salads seem to be missing something important when I leave it off. Another recipe idea: pork panko crusted baked asparagus with lemon panko crusted salmon. If I ever get off this diet, I’m definitely going to make some tempura-glazed sweet potatoes with this pork panko (recipe on chowhound). I’m excited to find other recipes to try this with.

Expensive but worth it!!
I was reluctant to try this b/c they’re a bit expensive for the amount you get, but due to various health reasons bread and pasta are off my list. This was actually very good! I was pleasantly surprised. It covers just like breadcrumbs and comes out crispy and doesn’t fall off. While I still wish the price round go down a bit, I buy this often.

Freaking AMAZING
Holy! Good! I bought these in the hopes of finding something that will hold better than just plain almond flour. This panko is just fantastic! It doesn’t have this over powering pork rind taste that I expected! Super bonus! Just so krispy and perfect for all your panko needs! These bags aren’t huge, but I only used about 3rd of a bag (they’re filled nicely) making a whole batch of pickles.

Crispy Chicken Breading With No Carbs!
A chef friend of mine recomended to use Pork Panko for a no carb better tasting crust. I've used it so far on chicken and pork chops- and it's amazing! It's a lot less mess than the blender and a really great consistency for adding spices. The consistency is incredible versus panko or bread crumb- I've tried just about everything to find the gluten free, carb free bread crumb and this by far surpasses ordinary bread crumbs. Also great for non frying and just baking. Will definitly add it to my holiday dinners sprinkling it on my mac and cheese & including it to my stuffing.

Genius
When I first read about using pork rinds as breadcrumbs, I thought it sounded really gross. It's not. If you have to stay away from wheat or carbs, this is a revelation. I've tried almond and coconut flours (soggy), various commercial gluten-free mixes, nothing works. Except this. It's delicious and crispy. As long as you are not a vegetarian or vegan or not a pork eater, this is what you want.

I love pork rind breading. The seller is pretty awesome, too.
First of all, yes it is on the pricey side. However, these bags of rinds really come in handy. For some reason, my favorite local grocery chain will only have flavored pork rinds in stock on occasion. And, there are times when I do not feel like or have the time to make my own breading. So, I don't mind spending a little more every once in awhile. If you are on a low carb, keto, paleo diet or have a gluten sensitivity and have never tried pork rind breading... do it.. do it now. I actually prefer the rinds over traditional bread crumbs. Last night, I made parmesan crusted swai. Salt, pepper, garlic and just a splash of lemon juice-- spread mayo on both sides for binding-- and coated with these pork rinds and shaved parmesan cheese. Fried it in a little peanut oil until cooked through (can also bake with great results). Freaking delicious. I included a picture so you can see how the crust looks. There's a darker piece there that was on the bottom that cooked a little longer. Crispy, full of flavor, great textures. Only made 2 portions, so I have rinds left over and plan to make this again in a few days. I've used it on chicken and pork as well. So good on everything I've tried. One panko pack will thoroughly coat a 6 pack of pork chops. If you have leftover crumbs, just use a chip saver clip to close up the bag. I had a hiccup with my order and the seller sent out another package quickly. They stand by their product and are very prompt and courteous. Highly recommend and will be purchasing again.

Superior in every way to conventional panko crumbs, perfect drop-in substitution
Surprisingly, "pork panko" is vastly superior to regular panko bread crumbs. This replaces bread crumbs one-for-one, and works in exactly the same way, including the same ultra-light texture. It has superior flavor (not at all meaty), and a more attractive color (with bread crumbs, you have to pre-toast in a skillet to get that--pork panko cuts out a whole step). Pork panko contains just enough fat to brown perfectly in an airfryer, but it produces no excess fat drippings (a problem with mixing olive oil into dry bread crumbs, another unnecessary step saved). The pork panko goes on the same way and sticks to a conventional egg wash extremely well. This is truly a superior alternative to breading for its own qualities. A 3-oz small bag is the right amount for making a single recipe (for 2-5 people) of most dishes.

Fantastic for "shake and bake."
My husband and I are doing Keto, and I needed something to replace the crumb-type chicken topping that's such a favorite with our kids. I dipped the chicken breasts in ranch salad dressing and then rolled in this Pork Panko, then cooked at 375 for 35 minutes, and it was AMAZING. The kids couldn't even tell the difference. I personally preferred it. Highly recommend.

Love these Panko pork rind breadcrumbs. Have used them to bread fried chicken and to also make meatloaf. Will order them again ...
