Exactly as expected. I just bought a brother scan & cut and destroyed the mat that came with it. My own fault because I really didn’t have much instruction as to how to use it properly. I’ve seen a lot of complaints on the quality of adhesive on these mats. My first opinion was to agree with other reviews .....except after watching multiple videos I learned that there is an entire step I was missing......the machine and mats come with very vague and not so friendly internet user manuals. The best instruction is the video tutorials on the brother website. I will disagree that it’s not the adhesive on the mats...it’s the lack of user friendly manuals

Scan N Cut Standard mat 12X 12

I am so happy that I got this because I had to use my other mat for the Embossing mat which will not be able to come off ever so I had to make sure that I had other mats so I could cut stuff that I need

It is what it is.

This is advertised as sewing mat but is correct for the Scan n Cut. One of two came with adhesive not sticky in places but that is a Brorher issue and not Amazon. Brother replied to email but didn’t offer a replacement.

Bought this for a back up mat to my scan and cut. I think these are expensive compared to my Cricut ones since you only get 1 mat but that has to do with the company not this seller.

standard cutting mat, arrived promptly in good condition and I use it a lot. I have found if I clean it with alcohol free baby wipes it maintains its stickiness quite well.

Have an extra mat, just in case!

Keeping the mat clean is a pain, so it helps having an extra mat for faster completion of projects. I did find out that I can refresh them very easily with a bathroom cleaning wipe, just make sure it dries completely before re-applying the protective cover.

Work perfectly every time with my DesignNCut

I really like the standard mats. I have used them for many type of vinyl as well as card stock. I have found that I like to take little bits of clear tape and secure the four corners of what ever I am cutting so that when it feeds into the machine I know it is secure. I have used the photo capture feature with ease and excellent results.
