Good quality. Versatile.

I bought thus kit because the shoe repair guy said that my uggs were not repairable, but I had hopes to fix it myself. It worked great, and the shoes are good again for many more seasons. Plus I am using the tools for other projects as well.

This kit was AWESOME! Fixed a HUGE hole in my couch that was there for years. It did the job well. Sadly I think I abused one of the needles with my pliers a little to much and broke at the end but I think its more my fault then the needle itself.

Excellent

This is an excellent kit for repairing leather. I was able to use this to repair my saddle bag on my Harley Davidson motorcycle, as well as a few other small projects. The thread and include it is high-quality and the stitching tool is nice as well. Definitely worth what I paid

Worked great

I used this to repair a tear in the seat of a GM vehicle. The gray color that comes in the kit matches perfectly and I was able to make the seat look ALOT better. The thread is very heavy duty and wax coated so it makes tightening the stitches very easy. I broke one of the needles right as I was finishing but I think that was more my fault than the needles. For the cost of the kit I would highly recommend. I would definitely recommend using a pair of needle nosed pliers to assist with pushing the needle through the leather or you will have some seriously sore fingers Haha.

great value, 5 big spools of cord, very basic leather sewing tools.

Almost everything you need at a great price.

The needles are nice and sharp. The thread rocks and there's quite a bit of it. The tape measure is handy, and the awl is too. I haven't used the thimble yet. Overall it's a great starter kit. Add some shears, a punch and a straight edge and you have everything you need. I'm almost done with my tool roll, which is my first project and I've only used what I listed here.

Great for beginners

Love most of the items in this kit. The thread is strong and nicely waxed (beginners view point, mind you), the color selection is quite accurate with the image, I've used it on several projects and it looks really nice and holds strong. The needles are quite strong, and seem good quality, I've used the awl several times and it works fine, although the metal gives me the impression it might rust soon; time will tell. The sewing/piercing tool seems to be made out of another metal, seems better quality. The ferrules are really crappy, the grip tiny, but useable.

Simple and Easy=SIMPZIA? Nice and well built kit

This kit is a great little kit. I bought this recently to fix a pair of leather sandals my girlfriend bought. Unfortunately the manufacturer wouldn't help us even though they broke a few weeks into having them. But have no fear I am really handy with things and figured it would be easy for me to replace the fabric strap on the buckle. This obviously came with many more tools than I needed for this job but I figured I might want to do some leather working in the future. The tools all seem well built and the string also very nice quality. I am so far happy with this.

Just as described

I wanted some heavy duty sewing gear to repair my crazy dog's toys, which are heavy fabric or canvas material. Regular sewing thread lasted about 24 hours. This kit has a variety of needles and spools of 1mm waxed thread. Sewed up a number of open seams as soon as it arrived. Sure, they look like toys that Dr. Frankenstein made for his monster, now, but my dog is happy. Make no mistake...these are big needles & heavy thread. But they work.
