These things really work !!

I typically begin all of my Amazon reviews the same way, by saying that I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon, and rarely take the time to write a review. The product has to be really bad, or I have to be thrilled by how good it is. I read the reviews of these furniture sliders and wasn't sure about them, but they were cheap and I decided what the heck. To be honest, I wasn't expecting them to work. I have some heavy furniture that I needed to move in a carpeted room. I have a heavy desk that typically would take 2 people to move. So I slipped these little things under the legs of the desk, and....magic....you can just slide the desk effortlessly across the room with one hand, easily. The sliders stay in place, and the desk just glides on the carpet. So, I'm saying this is one of those products that I am taking time to review, because they really work and am really amazed that they work even better than I would have expected. I can't imagine what went wrong for the people who wrote negative reviews. One side of the slider is smooth and shiny so it can glide across the floor, and the other side is kind of a cushion where the furniture legs sink down into it, thus preventing them from slipping off when you move the item.

I was skeptical, but these things really work

I bought these to put under my entertainment center legs so I could slide it out easier to access the back of the TV. I had trouble before because the feet would dig into the carpet, and it's pretty heavy to lift and move at the same time. I struggled to lift it enough to put these under the legs, and then moving it was practically effortless. I expected it to slide off the movers or for the movers to get hung up in the carpet, but none of that happened. Plus they're the same color as my carpet so I'm leaving them where they are. Would buy again.

Worth it! Works great.

Used 8 for my small loveseat. I swear we could run a carpet down Mt. Everest and this couch could glide all the way down smoothly. I always have to move the couch to bring out my piano or play Wii games on my balance board. Instead of my workout being "moving the couch" I move it with one hand, or push it away lazily with my foot.

They work

Sliders did what was claimed. I'm 72 and have an extremely heavy couch. Once I put the sliders underneath, no mean feat, I could move it with a minimum of effort. Will be ordering more when my new couch comes in. Nice to be able to vacuum underneath for a change.

Great

These things are amazing. I didn't think they'd work. They make moving my bed from the corner so easy on carpet. I have a bad back so these really help when making the bed. They do deform a bit from the weight but it doesn't seem to effect their use.

The best thing I didn't know I needed

I have to move my furniture around fairly frequently. I was given some of these furniture sliders as a gift, and they made the job so much easier I bought a second set. The furniture doesn't slide around when I don't want it to, but moving even heavy pieces is a breeze. So glad I have these!

Makes moving furniture around so much easier.

I like moving my furniture around and on some pieces I leave them under the legs just to move and sweep behind. It was so much easier to buy this way and get what I wanted than to buy a package that has different sizes and the felt pads which I don't need.

Amazing

I am an old lady and needed to move some large furniture. Thank goodness I found these on Amazon. They enabled me to move two large couches and heavy wooden furniture without help and actually with one hand. Without them I would have had to hire someone to help me. A great buy!

Great for moving heavey furniture!

We bought these last year when we got 2 new recliners, we put them under the 4 corners of our couch and under both recliners, plus or kitchen stove, man do these make moving these heavy item so much easier and no tearing out flooring up with sharp edges, you can't go wrong with these slides.

These WILL work on rubber floors

I was able to move a large functional trainer across rubber stall mats alone. I used a dolly to put the slides under the machine then worked the machine from sided to side. This worked fine but was slow. I decided to spray some lubricating spray I had for the rails on the functional trainer underneath each slide. Machine slid around like butter when I did this. I did have to come back an really clean the mats as they were very slick after I got the machine moved.
