PERFECTLY SIZED FOR BOTH MY MAC BOOK AND MAC BOOK PRO
When I discovered I left my laptop table that I use for my computer somewhere, I naturally went on Amazon to see if I could find a duplicate to replace it. Found something better The TEK Laptop desk is exactly what I need for travel and home use. Better even than the one I left behind because it fits perfectly inside the backpack I use as a carry on, The other was too large and I had to put it inside the suitcase. This lap desk also succeeds in keeping heat from computer off my legs. The width fits an airplane seat so that if I don't want to use the plane seat's drop down tray, I can still have a base for the computer or iPad. Pretty great!

Wish it was just slightly smaller, but other then that it is perfect.
Wish it was just a quarter inch smaller in length so it would fit better in my laptop bags, but I love it. Its smaller then my old one, but still just a hair too long. I have an 11" laptop and travel quite a bit. I really like a separate mouse, these types of boards are a must. Not only does it keep things steady on any surface, it extends airplane table just enough to be more useful... and I don't mind laying this down on surfaces that might be bit too dirty or damp (I teach sailing) for my laptop and mouse. Using it right now! Feels a little more hollow since the tray slides both ways... wish it didn't. No need to slide both ways, just turn it around if need be. But it does. I got about 5 years of use out of my logictech one, but this one seems even better built, so have hopes it will last just as long. The logitech feels stronger because it isn't hollow, but I think this one is really made better. There really are not many options out there -- just this style and the logitech. I think the more expensive logitech version would be better for larger laptops.

Highly Recommend
I use the pullout tray for my numeric keypad. The laptop desk is well-made, sturdy, and VERY convenient. I highly recommend this item!

Amazing for a 14" laptop + mouse.... not great for keeping laptop cool
I LOVE this thing. I never knew how much better having a mouse tray would be for my laptop (I used a clipboard on the couch next to me until now), but using this has significantly improved my wrist issues. It makes it possible to play in bed, on the couch, outside, etc. and still use my mouse. It is very thin and lightweight, so I hardly notice I am holding it. I don't think I could go back to just a trackpad now. My only complaint is that it doesn't do much to prevent my lap from getting burned by my old laptop if I'm wearing shorts or thin pants. It is better than nothing, but I really wish it had something soft on the bottom that put more space between my legs and the heat.

IGNORE THE NAYSAYERS . . .
I recently bought this laptop pad to allow me to watch movies on my laptop while lounging in bed or on the sofa without cooking either myself or the laptop. It fit the bill perfectly. The pad is strong, light weight and portable with "grippy" rubber surfaces both top and bottom. Today, however, I discovered how handy it is as a lap desk! Perfect fit for either our HP 2540P (12" diagonal screen), or Dell Inspiron 14". While the mouse pad area may seem small at first it handles a standard sized wireless mouse with room to spare. The left or right-handed sliding mouse pad option is a bonus. No mouse? No problem. It makes a convenient tray for your CD or DVD case avoiding loss in the folds of the sofa or getting crunched when either of our too large dogs (we have three) decide they want to cuddle up on the bed and watch too! NOT good as a beverage holder, however! Even my old Toshiba Satellite 17" laptop fits well enough (hangs about an inch off either side) to allow the feet to grip the pad and provide proper ventilation. Heat?? Yep, a coupla hours with the old Toshiba soaks through the pad. Solution?? A stadium seat cushion works best, but a thick folded towel or even a pillow takes care of that problem. Gonna buy another one of these to avoid potential household fights over who gets to use this one!! Highly recommend this "pad" for its versatility, compactness (fits right in your laptop bag) and sturdy construction. A bargain at $19 US!

Keep my MacBook firmly on lap for a very stable typing experience, prevent overheating, easy slip into laptop backpack
Both myself and my husband LOVE so much this portable, lightweight yet sturdy lap desk! My Macbook 15" and his Zenbook 13.3" fit perfectly on the durable anti-slip lap tray surface (about 14" x 10"). By using the lapdesk ours laptops are so secure in place whenever browsing internet or writing documents. The mouse pad area is pretty big, around 7.5" x 6.5" in size with small lip around the edge to stop mouse from falling off, good for either left hand or right hand use. After several days use indoors and outdoors, this is absolutely the best gadget/acessorary I bought in 2017! From my experience, this is a very well designed ergonomic device every laptop user should use, because of many unique features: - Not too light, not too heavy, not too big, not too small, around 2 lb weight and 0.6" thickness offer great balance between stability and portability. Use it on bed, sofa, couch, chair, recliener, in car or just sit on floor/ground, with rubber strips on bottom, you can quickly get a solid, steady notebook computer working desk platform. With extra wired or wireless mouse, I feel immediately doubled my working effiency; - Support widely from my small old MBA 11" to 13" ASUS Windows laptop and to my macbook pro 15 inch, however you can still easily put it into carry bag, carry it with your trip to school or library; - It can efficiently block the heat flow coming from laptop to lap, I don't know how it works (probably through the circle indentations) but it keeps the notebook's hot air off my legs. very comfortable to use my macbook for hours on bed or on sofa while watching TV; The lapdesk comes with well protected package, great job done by abovetek. will buy one again as gift for my sister, but wish they can have other vive color theme coming out.

Worth it!
I love this thing! The silicone is a bit tacky to prevent the laptop from slipping when tilted or bumped. The pop out mouse pad is an awesome feature, retracting for storage and transport. It's sturdy and we'll put together. The lap desk has a bit of weight to it so it doesnt feel like some light weight piece of crap, you have something that was put together with some thought. My laptop is a bit bigger than the lap desk, but no issues. I would 100% recommend this product.

Best for traveling as well in home
This is such as great gadget that I never thought I would use before. I usually use laptop on my lap at home and didn't realize the experience could actually be much better with the highly flexible lappad, my laptop is much more stable now for me to type than before, and I don't need to use the tiny track pad anymore with the smooth mouse tray conveniently sliding out for my easy use and control. Very grippy surface, solid feel and overall simple design, I can even easily put into backpack for travel use.

quality - quality materials - arrived sooner than I thought it would.
Got here quick, it's solid not too heavy and the materials are top notch. Only thing I would change on it is the logo that is stuck in the middle, I have a 2-n-1 laptop and so the bottom of the laptop has tiny tiny little bumpers on each corner just to keep the bottom vent off the ground. So with the logo sticker higher than the bumpers on the bottom of my laptop it would wobble, couldn't have that could we? I tore of the loco and it works fine. AboveTEK - just make your local flush with the rubber parts on the top of a surface and you'll be good to go.

Great design for 11" or 13" laptops.
This is perfect for me. I have a 13" Macbook Air and the other laptop desks I've seen are too big. I use this sitting in chairs or on the sofa. The computer doesn't slide at all. This lap desk is a very elegant design. The left or right mouse tray is in one piece and you just push it in the direction you want. If you're not using it, it's completely hidden under the tray. I don't use a mouse but the side tray is fine for a small notepad and pen, too.
