I was hesitant to order a washer through Amazon, (I usually head to the local appliance store) but the price was excellent and included delivery and set up, plus it looked like a great machine. So I took a chance. So far I am very pleased with everything. Delivery was right on time, they took away my old washer, and had the new one hooked up in about 15 minutes. The washer is great-I wanted a washer that could handle a large load of clothes, comforter, sheets, and this one does it all. I was also concerned because there is no center agitator, but it works great. There are multiple cycles, all that I need, and it self-measures how much water is needed. There is also a quick wash cycle, which is really helpful.

Great washer

This was a great deal buying on Amazon for $599.99 with free delivery and haul away. The delivery team were excellent, polite and professional and this was an initial concern I had as this was first Amazon major appliance purchase. The washer has been great, working flawlessly for 1st 3 months. Had a high efficiency washer previously so we knew how they work and so far we're very pleased.

Wow, I love this washer!

I have never used a better washer. This Kenmore outshines any washer that I have ever used. The capacity is huge. I can throw in multiple blankets, or a whole week's worth of laundry for a family of 3, and still get everything clean. The cleaning power is surprising. The machine uses a fraction of the water and needs only a small amount of detergent and still get clothes fresh and clean. My whites are whiter and my towels no longer have that musty smell. Could not be happier.

Great washing machine for the price

Ok, so this thing isn't "perfect"... but earns 5 stars for value. Pros: Large machine, washes well, enough settings to fit a variety of needs, comes with everything you need (new hoses included). Nice looking, and touch buttons are nice (once you get used to it being touch sensor, and not buttons you depress). Cons: It can be a little loud (not all the time, but once in a while), and at times it gets off-balanced (like any machine) if washing an exceptionally large/bulky load. Verdict: Very happy with the machine, particularly at this price point. You can get something slicker and quieter... but not at anywhere near this price. It does the job, looks good doing it.

Good machine

I waited a few weeks to write this review to really allow time to get a feel for it. I can honestly say we love it. Load it correctly, use the right cycle, and use the right detergent and you'll be fine. Also, the delivery team was great. Scheduled to arrive between 9 and 12 and they were here and fine with the old machine by 9:30. Very professional as well.

Who Knew...Washing machine from Amazon???

My old Kenmore washing machine bit the dust. I looked at all my local choices; Lowe's, Home Depot, Best Buy and H H Gregg. I wasn't happy with my choices or their price. I decided to check Amazon. There were several choices and delivery and set up was free. The machine was delivered within a week of placing the order. The man who delivered it was professional, friendly and efficient. The machine has all the bells and whistles I wanted and more. It works great and looks good too. Amazon will be the first place I look for appliances from now on.

Handles large loads easily. Is pretty quiet. Easy to use.

So far, this washer is a great value. I do many loads of laundry every day, so the ability to do large loads is critical. I can put a TON of stuff in here. You cannot beat the price either. The features are just right. Some washers have so many features that never get used.... but these seem to be just enough and I can easily use them.

Great washer

Wife loves this washer, very quiet, cleans well, free fast shipping, set up and haul away of your old washer. After reading the negative reviews and then fully reading the instructions. The washer uses (HE) high efficiency laundry detergent. If you do not, it causes the issues that are described in the negative reviews like mildew smell, streaks on cloths and not thourowly rinsing the detergent out.

Looks to be an improvement!

Just replaced a much more expensive front loader with this washer. Recommended by Consumer Reports. Quieter. Huge. Had it a week. Seems to work better and faster and gets more water out. Installation, delivery, and removal of my moldy 5 year old LG, which was supposed to last 10 years. This is 5 and it flooded my laundry room. Had to remove rust where it stood. Repairing was about the same price as a new one.

Machine works GREAT! different but great,love it!

The guys made everything look effortless, down a long flight of stairs and in very little time, worked fast, hooking machine up properly, and balanced it, very well done, everything! And everything is included; hoses, hook-up and take away, washed already, clothes came out great! looking forward to washing my king sized blankets. The tub is huge! Just let it do it's thing and make sure you READ THE INSTRUCTIONS so you know how this machine works! Love it already!
