Easy to put on

I always hate putting these things on, but these were pretty easy. I love the guide stickers for it, making it a perfect fit for my 6th generation iPad. And now there are no smudges on my iPad. It is still super responsive and clean looking. A few things to know before starting: 1. Watch the video! It saved me a lot of time and possible aggravation. 2. Their cleaning cloth isn’t the best. I had to use one of my heavy duty ones. 3. The first time I put it on, it had tons of bubbles. I pulled it back up and then put it back on from top corner to bottom corner. Worked perfectly! 4. And make sure the device is NOT in a case. This made it harder to put on for my husband. For the price, you can’t go wrong.

I purchased this one because they included 2 protective sheets instead of 1. I usually botch the first one and this one was no exception. Their video showed how to put it on a cell phone, and trying that method on an iPad didn't line it up very well. So i discarded the first one I ruined and put the 2nd one on perfectly, no bubbles or dust marks under the sheet. The sheet is a very firm sheet that is put on dry, as opposed to the ones you apply after wetting the screen. Those are the type I'm used to, but I'll stick with this dry type in the future. The sheet is very firm, like a thin plexiglass, and appears very resistant to scratches and nicks. It's very shiny, like the natural screen of the iPad, which I like, and is equally as touch responsive when using a stylus or finger. Very happy with the appearance and use of it.

Supershieldz is my Favorite screen protector

Supershieldz is my Favorite screen protector. I use it on all my family members Apple Devices. In total we have 3 Apple iPhones and 2 iPads and this is the only screen protector I use and recommend. Make Sure you get exactly the one you see here in the picture. Anti Fingerprint, Ultra Clear, Real Glass, Extre Sensitive, 9H Ultra Hard Coated, Oleophobic Coating. It is a sheet of glass that is flexible and very thin. Do not over bend. When applying make sure you clean the table with a damp cloth to prevent dust landing on the screen while you apply it. Shut the device off so you can concentrate without being disturbed. Lay the glass on the device without removal of the film on the back of the glass, so you can line up the home button and ear piece. Inside the box are 3 sticker and 1 round sticker on the same sheet. Use the 3 stickers to create a hinge like a door hinge. Put the stickers up one side of the device with half the sticker on the back then wrap it around the device to attach it on the glass. Before attaching the stickers to the glass make sure everything lines up correctly. Once attached the glass will swivel like a door. Finally, remove the round sticker from the box. This sticker is to remove any lint or dust that may have fallen on the device screen. Lift the glass while hinged, one hand holding the screen and one hand blotting the device screen to get lint off. Now, with both hands slowly place the glass on the device screen making sure everything lines up. Once down press the center of the screen and it will glue itself to the device. You will see it happening. If there are bubbles, Gently lift the glass from the corner closest to the bubbles and work it out from the top with the small cloth supplied. Try not to touch the glass on the bottom once you remove the back film. If it breaks down the road don’t worry. Gently lift the broken screen protector and throw it away. Clean the device screen with the alcohol pad provided and put new screw protector on it. I’ve dropped my device and had to replace it a couple of times. Now I’m like a pro at it. Just be patient and you will be fine.

Required for longevity of your Ipad

The price over the years has gone down and the quality has gone up. As far as installation goes. Just follow the instructions. Very well packaged and fit perfectly. One of the benefits of using a glass protector is that no matter what type of cleaner you use you will not damage the actual screen. There is so much debate about windex, distilled water.....whatever! The reality is that there are situations where you are going to use whatever you can find to clean it. This will give you some peace of mind.

Easy install on top of my cracked screen.

Easy install! I purchased the 2 unit pack because it’s been my experience that I’ve screwed up on previous screen install on older devices. Well, not this time. I had two devices though I expected to use both screens on my cracked screen device. Go to the website to watch their installation video. It really helps. My iPad Pro had a cracked screen so I wanted a dry application. Yes I used the enclosed wet wipe to wash the screen and then used the dry wipe cloth to remove the wet streaks on the screen but essentially it was a dry application. The position tabs are brilliant they really helped get the position of the screen spot on. Press in the MIDDLE of the screen after it is positioned. I forgot that and spent quite a bit of elbow grease to press out the air bubbles. I had some bubbling on my worst spot of my cracked screen but it really didn’t bubble up much at all. On my second device it went on and positioned perfectly. I would buy this product again for any new devices.

Great Product; Great Customer Service

Been using Supershieldz products on my smartphones for years and always satisfied. Ordered and installed one for my iPad and had some difficulty with installation (probably my fault, as I apparently didn't get all the dust off the iPad screen). Contacted Supershieldz for advice and they graciously offered to send me a new product at no charge, which I installed successfully. Supershieldz is outstanding.............clear, hard and more resistant to fingerprints than original iPad screen. Very satisfied. Take your time installing it and make sure the iPad screen is super clean before installing.

One of two cracked ! But seller quick to send a replacement.

I carefully installed both of them on two identical iPads. I didn't pay attention to a small nick on the edge of one protector. It developed into a major crack when I tried to smooth out the air bubble. The other protector is just fine. I wish I had carefully checked out the edges of the protectors. -20181105 update : Seller sent a replacement to fix the problem. It is all good now. Thanks.

Perfect alignment for camera and home button.

Fits 100% perfect. Come with cleaning pads and alignment stickers. No bubbles on install. Ive installed a lot of glass screen protectors the secret is use the alignment stickers and makes sure it lines up perfectly before you remove the backing, take off the backing on sticky side, with the alignme t tabs still attached gently lower the screen on and dont touch it(if u touch it, u will get bubbles). Wait 10-20 seconds and watch...the screen will attach itself with no bubbles.

The best screen protector!

I LOVE this screen protector! I use this on my iPad Air 2 and it protects my screen like nobodies business. I let my 2 year old use my iPad on occasion (long road trips, airplanes/airports, when i'm making dinner ect.) and although I do have a silicone case on it to protect the body of it from falls, the screen protector has worked more than once! Just recently my husband saw that the protector (he though it was my screen) was full of cracks. I told him my screen wasn't cracked and it was just the protector, but it looked so bad he thought for sure it was my screen. Well, my new set of protectors came in the mail to replace my cracked one and I had to show him that the protector indeed did it's job and there wasn't a single mark on my actual screen. The protector also does not cause a glare, you can't even tell that there is a protector on, which is great! I will always buy this brand of protectors because they work so well, and i've seen it firsthand!

The BEST Screen protector you can buy!!!!!!

I will never go without these ever again they will save your screen like they have mine countless times( my 3 year would be an excellent tester for these) never once in over a dozen times has my original screen ever been damaged while having these on I just replace with a new screen protector and go on, then the 1 time I let it out of my sight for minutes after having removed the broken protector and getting ready to put a new one on he freakin drops it!! Jus having the big foam-like bumper case was not enough without the glass screen protector and it cracks the digitizer so I had to replace it which isn’t hard but it is ten times the work of these screen protectors. I have these on all our iPhones and iPads and will buy nothing else after trying other high priced brands on to find out they were junk and the worst thing about a lot of them is when you go to remove them one brand in particular took me hours to remove it was the worst experience ever trying to get a damn screen saver off but these things every time go on Very easy and when it’s time to replace them they come off very easily without damaging your original screen
