Worth the money, GREAT for Beginners

I am new to embroidery and have taught myself using youtube videos, I have been doing this for about 2 months. This is the PERFECT beginner set. The thread colors are the same in person as the picture. High quality wooden hoops & thread. The only con is the thread cutter, is too dull. I suggest buying a high quality one. I highly suggest the Fiskars Thread Snip.

Wonderful Starter Kit

I gave this starter kit to my daughter-in-law for Christmas and she was excited when she opened it and saw the cute case it came in and all of the goodies inside. I liked the packaging and the quality of the product provided inside. I did add a package of needles since I didn't see any inside the package. However, everything else you need to start stitching is in this kit.

Bought this kit a year ago, had never cross stitched before in my life, but now I have 500 sales on my Etsy store! This kit started it all and I still have the same scissors it came with and a lot of the thread. Such a great beginners kit.

Perfect for a beginner

Great quality and great price. I got the exact thread colors pictured (I noticed others mentioned not getting all the colors). The wood hoops are sturdy and not warped and you get two large pieces of fabric that you can easily cut in half to make four. I finished my first embroidery project using this kit and have no complaints. You don’t get a whole lot of every thread, but you can easily repurchase them for cheap somewhere else. I would definitely recommend this kit to any beginner.

Perfect for Starting Out

I wanted to get back into cross stitching and this seemed like the perfect starter kit. So far its been great. Decent amount of thread, needles, and cloth. The wooden circles are not amazing quality, but hold up decently well. They aren't bad. No splintering or breaking. Some slipping. Id say for the price, its totally worth it. Perfect for starting out or dabbling in the hobby. Would recommend.

Good

This is a great starter kit and the thread is decent quality. I realized this when I bought replacement thread that was not. I used to like cross stitching as a kid and decided to take the hobby back up. This suited my needs perfectly.

Good for the price and is a great gift for those who want to get started on embroidery.

I’ve never done cross-stitching or embroidery before I got this and it’s been fun learning to use it. My boyfriend commissioned me to make this hoop to practice my stitches on so.... she’s not the best but she’s all I got for now. lol It doesn’t have the best quality materials; however, it does have the variety you need to figure out what you personally need and prefer to use when stitching. The thimble was pretty much useless unless you bend it to fit your finger. The hoops were not sanded and you gotta tighten it real hard for it to hold the fabric securely and prevent fabric tension in your finished work. The aida is a little stiff like regular aida but it’s workable. Considering the price of about $25, it is a good product for the price.

Great starter pack for anybody

I bought this for my mother as she is trying to get into a new hobby, and she absolutely LOVES it. Everything came in one piece, and the number or threads that came with was great for a beginner. I have embroidering for awhile and this was a great starter kit for someone trying to get into it.

Great Kit Just What I Needed

I love this starter kit. Very useful tools included in this kit. This is perfect for cross-stitch embroidery beginners. The hoops are of good quality, needles are great, and thread color selection is very good. I've attached some photos so you can see this kit better. Hope this helps!
