Easy for Adults and Tough for Kids - what's not to like?

Not much to say. They go on easy for adults. No fuss or bother to slide on and off. Quality seems reasonable - I'm sure they'll last as long as we need (until kid #3 grows up a bit more).

Old school cool

Super easy to use and they don’t damage our new kitchen cabinets. I’m not about to drill into these cabinets nor am I going to use sticker residue baby proofing. Go old school and use these. There’s a reason they’ve been around for a while.

They're Awesome and You Need to Get Them

2 yo old proof. Excellent value. A lot for your money.

I bought these because of the value and wanted something that would be tough for my 2 year old (who is into everything). These are perfect. Not difficult, great for the handles on my cupboards without having to add those weak magnetic style locks. Has deterred him from ripping my Tupperware cupboard into oblivion. This is a great buy!

Works very well!

I bought these for when my sister brings her little ones over (a 3 year old and 2 year old). She had the problem in the past where her son would rip the sticky child proof locks right off the surface. I figured these sliding locks would not have that problem, and I was right. These were well worth the purchase!

Does the job without drilling holes

I did NOT want to deal with drilling holes in my cabinets and cabinet doors. This is a little difficult to unlock but that’s the point. If I struggle with it, I assume once my baby is more of a toddler he won’t be able to figure it out. It’s a bit of an eye sore but such is life with a baby.

Keeps the 7 year old out.

This is successfully working in keeping our 7 year old (with type 1 diabetes) out of the refrigerator. I am hoping that by the time he figures this thing out and has strong enough fingers, that he will also be old enough to self monitor... We shall see.

The best product I have tried

My grandchild just learned to walk and is extremely curious about everything. He and his parents were due to visit and stay for a couple of weeks when I realized that I had not baby-proofed the house. I looked through a list of products and decided to try a Skyla product. After I received it, I was very impressed by the design of the cabinet child locks. It was truly designed with the child and the adults in mind. it was very simple to align and install. My grandson was not able to access the cabinets and it was a simple process for us to unlock them when needed. Perhaps the most convenient feature that other child-lock products did not have is one that have adults in mind. After the grandchild visit, I am able to "turn off" the locks. There is a small lever that disables the lock, returning the cabinets to regular adult use without having to uninstall the locks. I truly appreciate this feature as, unlike other child-locks, it allows us get back to normal without the hassle of having to unlock a cabinet for periods when there are no children in the house. It is a very intelligent product, definitely designed by people who are also parents.

Easy for parents, hard for the babies

Love these cabinet locks!! They are so simple to get off as an adult with fine motor skills, but not so much for my 19 month old. I have some in my home, as well as some I gifted my parent's for the same purpose.
