Makes a Big Difference With the Odor

When I got my countertop compost pail, I didn't realize that there were two charcoal filters in the lid/cover of the pail. After about six months, we started to notice that the pail had an unpleasant odor, even when it was empty. Finally, I realized that the filter should be replaced every couple of months. These new filters do a good job of reducing, if not eliminating, the compost odor.

These filters fit well and do a great job of keeping odors down. I don't always empty the compost as often as I should, and I appreciate the effectiveness of a good filter!

Why round and square sold together?

These are just typical filters, at a good price. I'm confused that they sell the two sizes/shapes as a bundle since I would think most people would need one or the other. I need the big round ones, not sure what I will do with the smaller square ones. Still, a good price even if I can find someone to give the square ones to.
