This was a gift for my nephew and it has worked out perfectly. Very easy to use. Despite other reviews, you can have the parent’s pole control the steering if you enable it. There is a switch on the front tire mudguard thing that changes the steering control from the child’s handle bars to the parent’s pole.

Been using it all summer, zero problems. STEERS SO EASY - returned a big name brand to get this one. SO glad we did, it's perfect. Daughter loves it!

Well built. Will last for years of toddler phases. The shade is a nice touch, especially for those of us in sunny south Florida. The only downside is that it may produce tantrums. My nephew loves this thing and he gets upset when he is taken out of it. :D

Purchased this for my 1 year old. Super easy to put together and it feels really sturdy. Only took me about 20 minutes to put this together as most items snap in (there were a couple of screws that needed to be taken out and pieces attached but nothing too difficult). Really happy that he will be able to use this for the next couple years as he grows. Only thing that was kind of meh, is the shade. It ended up being a little curved to one side due to the way it was packaged but not a big deal.

Great lightweight trike. Easy to assemble just make sure to follow steps in exact order! I didn't and my hubby had to painstakingly take a part off so I could do it right. Don't remember what part I did out of order as we bought this several weeks ago. We use it both inside (when my grandson gets bored!) and outside for a stroll around our neighborhood. Our grandson is 16 months old and is average height for his age. He loves to hold onto the handlebars as we push him around. We harness him in when we use it outside. My only minor con at this point is the sun shade. I like the flat design as it provides more shade but it angles too far back and is easily lifted by breezes. We put a a sun hat on my grandson for full protection.

I got this on sale around Christmas in the middle of the night because I had been looking at it and reading the reviews for a few weeks. My daughter was 19 months then and is 22 months now. I really like it and my kid loves it. Anywhere outside we used to take a stroller, we take this instead now. My husband and I play Pokemon go and it's a great way for our daughter to have a reason to be excited for these long outings we go on a couple times a month because she is too little for all the technology. It's great for fairly regular short walks around the park too. I can't wait until her feet can reach the pedals so she can learn to ride it on her own. I love that she feels independent even though we are still pushing her around. I haven't used the sun shade yet because it's still winter but as it gets hotter we will definitely be using it. I bought a sun umbrella that has a clamp for stroller handles or lawn chairs so you can attach it to just about anything round and the trike handle will definitely be used with that umbrella so we can both be in the shade during our outings. The two major questions I had and couldn't really find reviews about were: How would it steer? Pretty easily! It feels almost like steering a shopping cart one handed because you need to turn your wrist a bit to get it to go the direction you want. It's definitely not hard to do at all but to be clear you have no actual control over that front wheel. It's not a steering handle like your steering wheel in your car. How does it do on sidewalks? It does fine. We have used it pretty regularly and it doesn't really seem to be effected. The wheels are worn a bit because the sidewalk is abrasive on plastic but nothing more than normal wear and tear. I think it will hold up very nicely for the few more years she will be able to fit on it.

The bike was easy to assemble, the instruction was step by step and it took about hour. The red color is bright and love all the safety features. My 1 year old granddaughter loves it.

I bought this as a 1st birthday gift for my baby. My older son got the Radio Flyer version for his birthday and literally rode the wheels off of it over the last 4 years. I like that these type of bike grow with the child and can be used for several years. Ultimately, I chose this brand over RF because the reviews were better for this one. I feel that this trike definitely steers better. I like that the child has the ability to turn the handlebars and feel like they're doing something without it affecting the direction the wheels turn. It rides very nicely and my little one enjoys it. I like the Pegs for his feet to rest on. The little sunshade is nice, but definitely doesn't offer full coverage. Also, if you live somewhere windy, it will get blown around. I will say that I miss having the little zippered storage pocket up on the parent handle. RF had that, this one does not. It was a convenient place to put phone/keys. Not I have to put them in the flimsy little cubby at the bottom back and hope they don't bounce out on our trip. Assembly was pretty easy and did not take long at all. I hope that it lasts for years to come!

Love this thing. We get alot of postive looks and compliments on this bike when out with our child. Looks nicer then the cheap-o ones that are around. Very easy to get in and out of for the child. The adult turning handle works very easy and easy to control direction with. Love the fact that there is a way to turn on/off the kid steering wheel. Meaning your child could control where it steers, or you can disable that and then the adult steers with the long handle easily. Stop reading this review and just get it for your child/grandchild!!!! This thing is worth every penny! You will get your use out of it. We also use the little storage comparment on the back for bug spray, sun screen, random chalk pieces etc.
