Great backup pair of affordable sunglasses

I was looking for a backup polarized pair of sunglasses, so I could send my Costas away for reconditioning. These have a pretty nice polarization to them, and the kit comes with a bag, cleaner, neck strap and holding clip for your sun visor. i'm pretty impressed by this low cost alternative, and my new backup pair. I haven't had them in any fog type conditions yet to check out their anti-fogging properties as of yet. but I will update if/when that happens.

Disappointed in quality

I was excited to use these for running. The lens on the left side was not cut properly and is bigger than the lens on the right side. Some of the cutouts are uneven and irregular, the lens is not flush with the nose piece. It cuts into the left side of my nose. Update: After writing this review I received a second pair in the mail. The new pair fits perfectly. Amazing customer support, I would order again!

Quality Product for the Money

When buying sunglasses that perform against damaging UV rays you immediately turn to the big players which in turn cost hundreds of dollars. When in fact there is a great alternative with this product. They are light weight, cover the sides of the eye (which is important) and the polarized UV 400 gives you peace of mind. The bonus is the nice carrying case and clip to use on you cars visor. There is a eyeglass strap included but it really is too thick to wear (not a bad thing). Purchasing this product was very beneficial.

Update: Gear District/sunglasses

Hi, I bought the polarized Gear Direct glasses and they are great. ( as seen in previous review). I did not get the car clip . Also the left lens was just a little loose simply due to the nose area--NOT a big deal at all. I wrote to Gear Direct simply asking for a car clip. Well----they responded AND sent me via 2 Day Mail a car clip AND a new pair of glasses. Who does this? What a great company and I think a small business. I wrote saying I didn't even want a new pair of glasses but too late, they sent me new glasses and the car clip. This is a great company. Give them your business. And the glasses are fantastic. I never heard of Gear Direct before I bought these so no incentive to write this. I will buy again from this wonderful company. You will not go wrong with them so choose them if you're in doubt. The glasses fit well, smaller than most others in the category, which I like a lot, clear vision and who can ask for anything more especially at this price point. I'd like a little bit lighter lens, and if they make one I will buy it. But all in all, I no longer squint. They are light. And the customer service is beyond anything. I cannot recommend them enough. Again, this IS my real opinion. Enjoy them!

Great after LASIK

I needed sunglasses to wear after LASIK surgery and these have been great. They provide full coverage so there is no glare coming in around the edges. They fit well and do not change position on my face, all while not feeling too tight. Some polarized lenses are better than others. I am impressed that I could see the creek bottom when I went hiking. Standard lenses don't allow you to see through the water and this helps when fishing or just looking around. I can also see in through car windshields. No more waving at random cars that look like they belong to a friend or co-worker. I can actually see the driver! I can honestly say I am buying a few pairs in case I loose them. At this price, why not? Yes I paid full price for these and was not compensated for this review. Comfy. Glad I bought em

I like em. They are sleek, light, very light, and they do the job. They don't flop around on my face, but stay put. They don't pinch my nose. And they give my eyelashes plenty of room for blinking (which is always a plus, right? Nobody likes smashed eyelashes) They're just nice looking glasses that keep the sun out of my eyes. What more can I say?

Easily worth more

Needed some glasses for outdoor shooting that covered my eyes from top to bottom. These glasses definitely fit the bill and im shocked by the price. Easily worth more. Would recommend 10/10

Buy These. They are Amazing

These sunglasses are fantastic for sand volleyball. I'd never had polarized sunglasses before, and now I can't imagine what I would do without them. When I wear them, everything is so clear, they come with a cloth to clean it (which works a lot better than my sweaty, sandy shirt), and the case is so great to have so I'm not worried about them breaking in my volleyball bag. I also really like the way they curve to stay on my head. These glasses stay put and you don't have to constantly push them up your nose after sweating. Seriously a great buy for the price. My boyfriend got so jealous, he got a pair for himself, and I'll probably buy a couple more to put in all my sports bags so I never have to be without them.

For the price I thought these would be decent glasses. I am pretty hard on sunglasses so I have a hard time spending too much on them. as long as they are polarized and are wide enough to fit my large melon I am happy. The advertised width of the frame should have fit me well as I have another brand of the same width and they fit great. The included case and visor clip is nice but when I put them on for the first time they seemed a little tight, they did cut the glare quite a bit when I wore them outside. When I looked closer I could see that the right hand side of the frame doesn't allow the bow to open all the way, the left side is good, consequently they are only 130mm at the widest point. Maybe just a bad pair? I will try for a replacement in hopes that this was a fluke. UPDATE: Great Customer Service! Seller sent me two replacement pairs after hearing about my bad experience. Both replacement pair were straight and fit well. no complaints. They told me not to worry about sending back the first pair. I used to design plastic components for a living so I thought that the frame may have been damaged when it was coming out of the mold. I used a heat gun on the frame and it relaxed the stress on the deformed part and now it is near normal condition, not only do I have two new pair but I have a third that I can leave in my work truck as a spare. I would definitely buy from them again.
