Worked Excellent! Small and Useful

Worked like I needed it to! Must have for international travel. I see a lot of people mixing up the word "converter" with items like this. This is not a converter, it's simply an "adapter" It's not converting 240 to 120, so be sure that you only use items rated for both 120/240 50/60hz and you won't have a problem. Cell phones, laptops, tablets, etc. are typically all dual voltage. I also purchased some standard plugs that gave my wife the ability to use her dual voltage flat iron and hair dryer while abroad. We spent two weeks in Europe and didn't need an expensive "converter" for anything. Just this and some other standard adapters I purchased from Amazon for $9. Travel safe!

Good for Travel & use it at home ,too

I like that this travel adapter can be used in many different countries. It is very useful because the USB cables can be used to many products (like new fan ,they use it . Phone , iPad....),so I like it !!!

If you travel to Europe, you need this...

This summer (2018), I took my first true international trip from the US to England and Ireland. I picked this thing up so that I could use and charge my electronics across the pond. The design is simply brilliant! It accepts multiple different inputs and allows you to select the appropriate output for the wall socket of the country you are in. Best of all, it's compact, maybe 1.5-2" on a side. Pro tip: bring a power strip from home when you travel. Plug this thing into the wall, and your power strip into this. Then, plug your electronics into the power strip from, which it should already match anyway.

A+++ all the way

I recently supported something similar to this on Kickstarter at three times the price, and it didn't arrive in time for my trip. I bought this and I could not be happier. I am in the middle of my UK trip and it has performed perfectly with everything I have asked, plugging in my laptop and charging phones at the same time without any issue. I'll be returning the Kickstarter version upon my return, if it has even arrived by then.

Great So Far

We love this little adapter. It's built pretty solid, nice and compact, it's colorful so it's hard to lose, and works pretty well. My only complaints would be, a) the little switches that change the wall plug adapter type can be a little hard to stick into place, but just barely. I have a feeling that those will loosen up with time. Hopefully not too loose though. And b) it would be nice if there was one or two more USB ports but for the price it's not bad. And it looks like there's a newer version that has 4 USB ports instead of two. We've only been able to test the US plug type so far. But my son will be traveling Paris in the spring and he can try at least one of the other plug types then.

Well made adapter, good value for price...

Making a trip to Greece & Italy in October and needed an adapter for phone, camera, & laptop. This universal unit has a plug adapter and two USB ports for charging. The USB ports have a good charging rate, seem as good if not faster than the charger that came with my phone, and the plug will handle my tablet/laptop & camera charger. The plug is not a converter, it will NOT transform European 240V to US 120V, so it will not for example, work to operate a US voltage (120v) hair dryer, but is fine for multi-voltage devices like like camera & laptop chargers. You can plugin a phone charger, but the USB ports allow direct charging of your phone without the phone charger. Writing this review in July so I have not used it in Europe yet, but I have tried it with US 120V and it works fine. The various plugs lock in place and will only retract by pressing a release button on the unit. I will only need the EU plugs for this trip, but it has plug adapters for most places I would (eventually) like to travel to:) It seem to be well made, and a great value for the price. Update 12/28/2017 - Been back from the above mentioned trip for a while but thought I'd update after using this on the trip. Simply put...It worked perfectly. Most days I had two USB phone charger cables and a camera plug-in battery charger connected with no issues. Now back home, I still use it as a multi-plug USB charger....and waiting for the next trip:)

An awesome and safe adapter

This is really awesome. It's very convenient and safe. There is a button to push to change to different plug. And I like the material of this adapter, the quality is obvious very good. I used to buy one in a store, the price is more expensive but the quality is much lower than this. If you travel a lot, this adapter must be your best choice. Which make me happier is that there are two USB portal. It's not only an adapter but also an charger for your mobile devices, you don't even need to bring your charger with you. All-in-one is the best description of this product. You will love it.

Versatile Product!

I must admit at first I was a little skeptical that this product would work. Let me tell you it is everything plus more for the traveler who is going overseas. We landed in Germany where I used the EU plug and let others plug their phones into the USBs and the plug in the front side that act as as an adapter. The duty free shop that was there was asking 42 Euro for a similar adapter that didn’t have all the plugs this one does. In short, great purchase for this trip and more to come.
