Image is a lot better then other brands
I purchased these headsets for using with my DJI phantom 4, the goggles are so nice and sharp, the OLED image is a lot better then other brands such as fatshark. I have used them with my connex prosight HD fpv receiver and the image is just incredible. You can also use them with a RCA to HDMI converter and a la forge 5.8ghz receiver to use with my FPV racing drone, or eachine android 5.8ghz receiver. The latancy increase isn’t noticeable but the image quality is a lot better then even my fatshark HDO and the field of view is massive at 53 deg. The diopter adjustments mean I don’t need to worry about my subscription. Just amazing product.

Outstanding stand alone 3D Theater VR
Works as advertised though I keep having problems getting the eye pupil distant just right. The view while watching 3D movies is outstanding and watching IMAX Hubble 3D with good pair of headphones makes it feel you are right there. Wish there were better instructions on how to connect with a computer or stand alone BluRay/4K player, but I will figure it out. Also, controller gets quite hot after watching a long movie. Highly recommended despite the cost, which for a Canadian is made even more due our poor exchange rate.

Fantastic. Read past the marketing hype.
The Goovis G2 is really comprised of two independent products: the goggles themselves, which contain two full HD OLED panels; and a control unit that's essentially an Android miniPC in a handheld box. The goggles are lightweight and fitted with a non-removable HDMI cable. The interpupillary distance can be adjusted, as well as the dioptric correction for each eye. If you have myopia, you're covered, but people with astigmatism will have to wear contact lenses as the goggles can't be used comfortably with glasses. Other controls allow you to set the brightness and toggle the 3D mode on or off. The effective resolution of the panels provide 1920 x 1080p to each eye, and the input supports 4K video. While this technically qualifies them for the "4K support" claim, it is a bit of marketing hype since you will only see 2K at best (and that is quite a lot, the image quality is astounding). The 3D mode provides absolutely stunning stereo vision, and the only gripe I have with the goggles is the non-removable video cord; should anything happen to the cord or the plug, your expensive goggles are good for the trash -- so pay careful attention to them. The handheld AndroidPC runs a custom distribution of Android 4.4. The top of the case features a built-in mouse and buttons, making it very easy and natural to control. A built-in battery provides four to five hours of use (the goggles are powered by the controller via HDMI). The box has a USB port to plug a keyboard or USB stick, a microUSB charge port, and a microSD card slot. Unfortunately the build of Android installed does not support exFAT, so if you want to be able to use large files you need to format your card using extfs, the Linux file system. Paragon Systems sells extfs support software for Windows and macOS, and that's your best bet. I am currently using a 256GB microSD card formatted in extfs with no problems -- formatting it took a long time though. PROS: - Amazing video quality - Ideal field of view - Full HD resolution - Spectacular 3D - Comprised of two independently useful components (you can connect the microPC to an HDMI monitor to watch a movie with a friend, and the goggles to any HDMI output, such as a PC or a game console; 3D mode is activated on the goggles) CONS: - Cable permanently attached to the goggles - extfs not currently supported (but could be easily added with a software update) In conclusion... I love these goggles. They're well designed, well thought out, and provide amazing video quality. They also fold up to fit in a case no bigger than a Bose QC35 case. So far, I haven't seen any other system that even begins to compare in quality and comfort. Very highly recommended.

Woking with my NAS!
It is amazing that this device work perfectly with my NAS which keeps all my HD movies. I don’t have to carry a hard disk or even a HDMI cable. As long as I have a good WIFI connection, I can access my files in the NAS anywhere in the world. The quality of video is perfect to me although I have not experienced other products. Service-wise, this is a product by a Chinese company. If you have their WeChat I think they will respond promptly to your question. Not too sure about the other channels of getting support. Overall I am very please with the experience.

AMAZING!
Absolutely amazing. Not going to write a long drawn out review but if you use any VR goggles or a watcher of movies, games or drone flying you must— MUST give this a try. I’m very pleased. No hooking up to anything. All the apps are within the goggles! Netflix’s HBO you can do all your social media or just surf the web. I would buy it now because the price is about to go up after Christmas. The price might seem steep but it’s worth every penny.

My first personal theater and WOW !!!
I've just recieved this today after ordering through Amazon.com and managed to save a bit of money (£170) including free shipping instead of buying through amazon.co.uk. The packaging is great especially the carry case and it includes everything you need and after a bit of setting up, everything is great. There are a couple of issues though, one is it needs a mouse to navigate some streaming sites (netflix, etc) but the wireless mouse I have doesn't work with it so I had to use a wired one. Another issue I have is it takes a bit of tweaking to get the picture spot on, but when you do its worth all the hassle as it's brilliant.

Works great with a few manageable problems, amazingly fast shipping from Hong Kong!
I agree with other reviewers in that the googles and included video player/ battery power supply should be rated separately. The goggles in my opinion are close to as good as it gets, They are lightweight, reasonably comfortable, the picture quality is excellent. No dots are visible (no "screendoor") and with the OLED display the color and contrast are awesome. The picture size is about right too, not so big your eyes have to continuously move to see different parts of the screen, yet not too small. (I was worried the screens would seem like looking through a camcorder viewfinder (a 1inch screen viewed at 2 inches away) but this is definatey not the case. Due to some optical magic, the image appears as one big screen flat panel TV (about a 50" viewed at 5 ft. in my estimation). Perfect. So i would give the goggles themselves a 5.0, I like them a lot... Now the player - maybe not so much... I give the player a 3.0 it has a lot of great features but seems to have frequent lock ups, is slow to respond at times and other problems. As another reviewer said, it seems as though this device is still in Beta testing and was released too early. As such I hope Goovis is hard at work on the problems and an update would be made available soon. I would give this set up a 5.0 easily when the player firmware is perfected.

Wonderful Entertainment Glasses.
Absolutely Incredible. It is like you are sitting in a Movie Theater with huge screen. You have to try it to believe it. Best purchase ever.

I am giving 5 stars to the primary element in this package - the goggles. The picture quality is fantastic. The included android-based player/remote is probably only 3-4 stars - it is useful for travelling (and as a USB battery for the goggles) but for the best quality playback I would recommend buying a smart Blu-ray player (which includes Netflix, Amazon, Vudu and other services) and use the goggles as a display. This latter solution gives the best quality for Netflix and other services as well as Blu-ray playback. One complaint is that these goggles are not compatible with the standard 3D output for most Blu-ray players which normally would require you to rip the 3D blu-ray discs to a compatible SBS format. However, Panasonic manufactures several Blu-ray players which can output the 3D Blu-ray video in the necessary format - I have bought the Panasonic DMP-BDT110 Wi-Fi Ready 3D/2D Blu-ray Disc Player for this purpose and the 3D playback on the goggles is outstanding without any need to rip the discs! Just set the output format to Side-by-Side (SBS). Also, remember to connect the Goglle's USB cable to a either a USB charger base or a battery when viewing in order for the goggle screen to be lit.
